Everyone who knows a little bit about search engine optimization knows that links are an important factor in website ranking, but they do not necessarily fully understand how link analysis affects search engine rankings.
Today I will briefly introduce my observations and thoughts.
First there are two points to emphasize:
1) The meaning of link analysis technology is much broader than Google PageRank. Because of Google's halo and promotion of PR, many people attach great importance to PR and think that PR is the main content in link analysis. In fact, search engines analyze links much more extensively.
2) Link analysis includes incoming links and outgoing links. Today I will only talk about the import link, and I will talk about the export link when I have time. But what must be made clear is that appropriate export links to authoritative websites can help website rankings. Unlike many people think, export links will cause a loss of PR for this web page, thereby reducing web page rankings.
Search engine analysis of incoming links is likely to include the following aspects:
Number of imported links
The importance of the incoming link itself, that is, the importance of the link to your web page itself
(These two points also form Google PR, but these latter factors are not directly related to PR.)
The rate at which backlinks increase
The content theme of the website itself where the backlink is located
Is the content of the page where the backlink is located relevant?
Link anchor text for backlinks
The text surrounding the backlink anchor text
The location of the link on the page
The age of the domain where the backlink is located
Has the domain name where the backlink is located has ever changed hands?
The date when the page with the backlink was first indexed
Has the content of the page where the backlink is located ever changed? What kind of changes have there been?
When did the backlink first appear on the page?
Has the link text ever changed? What was the change?
What other websites does the page with backlinks link to? Is the content of these other websites relevant? How is the quality?
Are the backlinks suspected of being spam links? For example, they come from forum signatures, blogs, etc.
link click rate
How long users stay on your site after clicking a link
These are just the ones that come to mind right now, there are definitely other factors that search engines will consider regarding links. I hope someone will add more
