For new sites, they will more or less encounter the problem of being demoted by Baidu. I have been working on my Shenzhen SEO blog for almost a month, and I have also experienced a demotion from Baidu. There is no other reason. I think I asked for it myself, because I had done SEO for a website before, and my skills at that time were not very good. Therefore, I was demoted by Baidu and I don’t know how to get back. I always look for articles written by others on the Internet, and I find that what others write is wrong. It is not correct to follow the above method. Maybe I am stupid. So, this time, I used my blog to experiment. When Baidu started to include me, I changed the template, which directly led to the website being demoted, and the homepage of the site website went from the first to the non-existent. The ranking of the keyword Shenzhen SEO also dropped from 44th on the second day after changing the template.
From these aspects, I think it should be that he has been demoted. However, I no longer ask people everywhere and look for articles from so-called experts as I did before. After talking to my teacher, I figured out the reason for being demoted:
First of all, because the new website has a low weight, Baidu does not trust it very much. If you change templates frequently, you will be demoted by Baidu.
The second is the change in the key sub-layout, which is very important and why I changed the template in the first place. Just to find out how important keyword layout is to SEO, because all the websites I built before were demoted due to keyword layout problems. So this time, I not only changed the template, but also adjusted the layout and density of the keywords. This is the most fundamental reason why the website is demoted.
After figuring out the reasons, I didn't look around for solutions to these problems. The reason is simple, because those articles are not very targeted. Following the methods they teach will not only fail to solve the fundamental problem, but may also lead to more serious consequences. So, I dismissed those articles.
However, Baidu revoked my website's rights after a week. The keyword ranking of Shenzhen SEO has returned to the 44th place before being demoted, and the homepage of the site website is also in the first position. The reason is very simple. First of all, my mentality has been corrected this time. It won’t be like before, whenever there is a small problem, you will change this or that, and even change the title, description, etc. of the website. Facing this demotion, I faced it with a normal heart and continued to do whatever I needed to do. I didn’t check rankings and site websites all day long, because I knew that it would be very tiring, and the results of these things would not be visible in a day or two. So, I don't bother myself.
After this incident on my Shenzhen SEO blog, I summarized the solutions to the website being demoted by Baidu:
⒈Update frequently. Before you were demoted, you updated one article a day. After you were demoted, you updated two articles. It is best to have original content. If it cannot be original, then it will be pseudo-original.
⒉ Post more external links. Many friends in my group mistakenly think that external links are friendly links. In fact, this is not the case. For example, posting soft articles, forum signatures, etc. are all external links. In short, find more external connections.
⒊Don’t blindly search for solutions online, and don’t experiment on your own website when you see an article. Because doing so will often push your website into a deeper abyss than before.
⒋It is important not to make any changes to the web page itself, especially the web page title, description, etc.
⒌Put your mentality right so that you don’t take joy in things and don’t feel sad about yourself. This is very important and is also the most basic quality of an SEO.
If you can do the above 5 points, I believe that if Baidu reduces your rights in the future, there won’t be much of a problem.
The above is my own experience. If you have anything to say about this, please log in to my blog of Shenzhen SEO Xiaofeng and leave me a message, or join the SEO FAQ QQ group: 72877356 to communicate and discuss together.
