Douyin, a short video software, not only allows you to view short videos and watch live broadcasts, it also provides an auction function and can also conduct transactions. Some friends are not very familiar with it, so let’s take a look together.
1. First, our merchants need to create auction products and select categories. Merchants can select the category to which the product belongs in the Doudian backstage - products - product creation. If the merchant is qualified to auction goods, the auction product entrance will be displayed. Click to select "Auction Goods". (If the platform confirms that the product is not qualified for auction, it will not be displayed)
2. After the product is successfully created, the auction rules need to be set, including event name, delivery time, margin, delay period, handling fee ratio, activity description, etc. Up to 1,000 products can be added to a single auction event.
3. After completing the above steps, merchants can auction goods online in the live broadcast room, and users can view and enter the auction after paying a certain deposit. Just like the offline auction rules, within the specified auction period, the highest bidder wins and pays the balance. In addition, all participants who do not bid for this product will have their deposits returned.
This function is currently still in internal testing, and only merchants who are qualified to participate in the internal testing, must have an auction house with auction qualifications, meet the qualification requirements, and are specifically invited by the platform, can use this function.
