Recently I plan to improve the SEO of my blog. The first thing that comes to mind is to modify the permanent link of the log. The ideal link method is as follows:
http://domain name/category name/article name.html.
Among them, the article name is best to use English words and "- "Connected in series, but I have neglected to fill in the log abbreviation for hundreds of logs in the past. WordPress automatically converted Chinese into URL encoding, which is very unfriendly to search engines, so I need to modify these logs in batches. Abbreviation.
I searched the Internet for solutions and found that there are two plug-ins you can borrow. One is wp slug and the other is headspace2. The former can automatically check Google Translate when you publish a log and save your log name in the corresponding English. ;The latter provides a mode for batch modification of log names.
1. wp slug
The use of wp slug is very simple. Just upload it to the plug-in directory and activate it. It will automatically work for you in the process of publishing logs in the future. (Of course, if you feel that the results of Google Translate are not good, you can also modify it yourself.)
2.headspace2
Headspace2 is actually an SEO plug-in. Its function is not weaker than all in one SEO. It can customize various SEO elements. But here, we only need to use the "meta data" function.
The meta data function allows you to batch set SEO elements such as titles/abbreviations of all logs. After a long time of hard work, I finally changed the abbreviations of hundreds of logs~!
In the future, I will never have to worry about log abbreviations again, because wp slug will automatically work for me :)
