Due to my daily work, I don’t have time to write some words. Today I am interested in writing some content on a digg model website that I care about, because our latest developed website with the same model has been launched!
Comparatively, most of the domestic digker websites just stop there and don’t go in-depth. From the surface, they don’t seem to have the confidence and courage to go big. I don’t know why. I have read some articles before, and there are also many comments and analyzes by Internet people on this model. The most mentioned thing is that Chinese people don’t like to share. Most netizens’ comments on news are not rational participation. Most of them are seeking a kind of excitement and hype. And the pleasure of beating a drowned dog. After reading these, half of the passage and confidence disappeared for a while, but I still want to continue to explore this model, because I don’t believe that the key to the problem is not here!
Here are some views on China’s digg model based on our website (http://www.feerbook.com)!
1.Design concept
When it comes to design concepts, not many web design workers understand this concept. The design of the foreign originator of DIGG is much better than that in China. When each visitor browses for the first time through the browser, he has a strong idea about color matching and column planning. Annoying, I believe the second time will not happen again! That is to say, the organized design and column planning are a very important step. Of course, the innovation to achieve this is also difficult!
2. Page style technology
Some websites look very neat through IE, but when opened through Firefox, they are completely unrecognizable. In fact, this can be regarded as a hindrance to the development of websites. In other words, most websites are not designed because they don’t have the money to hire good artists when building websites in the early stages. But I think This is not the main reason!
3. Website technology itself
Regarding this point, I think most domestic digg websites are operated by individuals, and their own technology is not very high. The most important aspect of technical application is that it cannot attract users, and that is the news submission link. Of course, after a user submits a piece of news , the system will automatically process and complete all the work of user-submitted information, and refine the final results for user review, including thumbnails, titles, and link descriptions. In this way, users can complete the release of a news after direct review, which reduces time and is very efficient. I think this aspect is rarely used in China. Maybe this kind of website is not based on corporate actions. It takes more time and technology to invest, not to mention that in the early days of setting up a website, there is very little money!
The above three aspects are from a technical perspective. Different from the good analysis of other Internet enthusiasts, I think if this model is deepened, this technical level problem must be solved! As for other obstacles that hinder the development of the DIGG model The reason, I think, is the verification behind the above content!
