I officially started SEO work on Sanside’s website on May 28. At that time, the website’s rankings were: Dongguan Shelf was ranked 6th on Baidu, 8th on Google, 253rd on Baidu, and 363 on Google. The Shelf Factory was not included in the 100 pages. Exactly half a month has passed since today. After finishing my work, I checked the rankings. I was overjoyed. Now Dongguan Shelf has risen to the first place on Baidu, the shelf is sixth on Baidu, and the shelf factory is seventh on Baidu. Here is a summary of this SEO optimization experience:
Before I started, I looked at some of the top competitors. The top two were two shelf industry portals. It was very difficult to surpass them, so I didn’t look at them for now. I looked at the next few. Do a brief analysis of the website of the shelf company, and then start the internal optimization of the website.
First of all, I adjusted the original TITLE to "Shelves | Storage Shelves | Dongguan Shelves | Guangzhou Shelves | Shenzhen Shelves_Dongguan Sanside Shelf Factory". Some friends may ask how there is a storage shelf and it is not ranked yet. I will keep this here. The keyword is because I don’t want TITLE to change too much. The customer originally added it here, and search engines have known about it for a long time. I would also like to remind everyone that the TITLE tag needs to be changed, but it must be done step by step, and it cannot be changed too much at once. , otherwise it will be easy to lose power. Then there is the modification of keywords and description. The keywords in KEY are streamlined and only the most core ones are retained. The description uses a very natural language to include the target keyword and repeat it once or twice. Of course, the repetition here is not piled up, there are Interested friends can refer to it.
The code on the main page was streamlined, all JS was changed to external calls, and ALT tags were added to the images. Since there was already a column for customer cases, the original latest customer was changed to a company profile, and keywords were incorporated.
At the bottom of the website, first remove some redundant text, delete a large number of keyword columns added by the original customer, leaving only a few important keywords, and add the strong tag.
This website was originally made by me, so the changes are not big. Two days later, Baidu snapshot was updated, and several keywords improved slightly, so I started adding external links. I added a one-way link to my blog, and also added a friendly link column on the homepage of the website, and insisted on adding about two external links every day. Here is a reminder for novice friends, external links should not be increased too fast, and regular increase every day is Best of all, you also need to grasp the quality of external links, but if your site's weight is not high, it is best not to add external links with too high PR, and wait until some time has passed before adding external links with a certain weight. I would like to thank my friend Qin Jian for sending me two good one-way links.
For GOOGLE, the ranking of this site has only increased slightly. Baidu has a strong regional focus, so it has risen faster. As for GOOGLE, my goal is to reach the top ten in two months. The optimization of the word shelf in GOOGLE still needs to be done. A certain degree of difficulty. After experimenting with several websites, I found that if the website has not been updated for a long time, the ranking will be poor even if there are many external links. However, if the website is updated diligently, the ranking will be good even if there are few external links (of course, the premise is that the website quality is good, the internal optimization is done well and the ranking is good). There must be a certain amount of external links, this is relative terms). One shortcoming of the enterprise website is that it is slow to update, so I have to continue working hard for GOOGLE. Of course, Baidu will not relax.
The above is purely my personal opinion. Corrections are welcome, or you can communicate on my blog (www.shallen.org.cn).
