As a first-level webmaster, there are many things to learn. In the process of building a website, we will inevitably encounter setbacks of one kind or another, but as long as we are willing to learn and ask more questions, we will continue to make progress amidst various setbacks.
I would like to share with you my various learning experiences in the past 2 months of building my website. I hope to get some advice from veterans and also hope that it can be of some help to novices.
The small website "Ladyji" (www.ladyji.com) uses DEDE5.3 and made modifications to the template of the Chinese webmaster website. It was officially launched at the end of April. Then I started adding human flesh content bit by bit. During this period, Continuously optimizing keywords, one month later, the website keyword "women's emotions" has ranked second on Baidu's homepage, second only to Tencent women. PR also quickly rose to 2. I was very happy to see the progress bit by bit and the traffic rising bit by bit.
Since June, because I am usually too busy and have no time, I have not updated the content for half a month. At this time, I suddenly discovered that the traffic of the website from Baidu dropped from more than 60 to only a few. I quickly checked Baidu's inclusion, and as expected, the homepage of the website was blocked. And surprisingly, it appears on the home page as shown below:
Although I don’t know if this domain name has been used before, the inclusion date appears to be: February 21, 2003. It really makes me depressed.
In order to get Baidu to re-include the home page, I started to check various reasons and asked various old webmasters for advice. Finally, the following reasons are summarized, which are also more likely reasons.
1. Whether the host IP used is punished by Baidu. If other websites on the same IP are punished by Baidu for some reason, then the websites on the same IP may also be implicated.
2. Excessive optimization of keywords and homepage TITLE. Over-optimization may also cause Baidu to knock off the homepage. And mine is a new site, the keywords have not been changed much and there is no excessive SEO. So my site was K, maybe this is not the reason.
3. The website with friendly links on the homepage will be demoted. If the linking website is demoted, the possibility of the website itself being implicated will be very high.
Combining these situations, I made corresponding adjustments. After checking various sites with the same IP, I found that one site was not normal. Then I contacted the space provider and replaced the space.
Second, I made a lot of links to improve PR. I checked them one by one and eliminated several friend links.
On the third night after making adjustments, I was surprised to find that Baidu had re-included my homepage.
To summarize: there are several reasons why Baidu K deleted the homepage of the website.
1. Be careful when making links and check the links regularly. Links that have been demoted may affect you.
2. Optimize appropriately, but don’t go too far. Baidu seems to have increased its penalties for these over-optimized sites.
3. Check the site inclusion status under your server IP. Sometimes, sites under the same IP are punished, which may directly affect your own site.
A little bit of my own experience, I hope it will be helpful to novice webmasters like me.
