Today, as usual, I checked the PR of several of my small sites. Unexpectedly, I was shocked. The Google PR value has been updated again. This update is only one month after the last PR update, which is very special in the PR update cycle ( In the past, the waiting period for PR updates was usually two months). What’s even more surprising is that my newly launched industry website was only launched in early June and was only included in Baidu on the 10th. Its PR value soared from PR0 to PR5. We really have to wait for Han Yan! PR, what happened? What was once the benchmark in the heart of the webmaster has become this gang!
Let me tell you about my experience. This is my first time writing an article on Webmaster.com. In May, I used the CMS system to launch three new small industry websites. Among them, there is a domain name that has been idle due to the change of domain name not long ago and is useless. I used him as the domain name of the new website (in particular, the PR value of the old website was 3, but after three months of inactivity, GG has almost dropped in Baidu.)
Today, as usual, I first checked one of my main sites, and the PR value was still 3. I thought to myself that it would be better if the PR increased by one or two, without having to put in all the effort to support it every day, and then checked again. For the other two sites, I unexpectedly discovered that the PR had been updated again. It seemed that it had not been a month since the last time, and one of them rose from 0 to 1. One goes from 1 to 2. So in the end, I checked the PR of the station I had least noticed in the webmaster tool. Something surprising happened. The PR value was actually 5. God, I finally have a station with a PR of 5. Haha, You can take it out to dry in the sun later.
But after the excitement, I suddenly felt cold again. The PR value soared from PR0 to PR5. What does this mean? Is it my own fault or a lucky pass?
There are two experiences that can be summarized:
1. If the old domain name that has been dropped (soon, within three months, non-K site) is re-established, the newer domain name will be better included in GG and Baidu, and the old domain name will be brought back to the site quickly. And the corresponding PR value will be inherited (I have done related operations twice, both are like this)
2. A high PR value does not necessarily mean a good site, but a low PR value indicates that the site still has problems. For example, this site like mine has no promotion and no updates, but the articles are not collected.
Let’s talk so much first, maybe I am considered a semi-veteran, and I have seen through the PR value. What I like is that snapshots are updated every day.
