Peng Yucheng has diagnosed nearly 30 websites recently, and almost half of his friends are asking questions about website inclusion, such as: why there are so few web pages included, why website inclusion has dropped, and a series of other questions. Today Peng Yucheng will share with you the reasons and solutions for changes in website inclusion.
When it comes to website inclusion, many keywords are associated with it: content quality, web page weight, external links, etc.
Especially for new websites, the above points are particularly important, but there are some novices who want search engines to quickly include their websites when they first build them. You will be surprised when you look at their websites. The content of the website is all reproduced from other websites in the same industry, and there are almost no external links, let alone the weight of the web page. Even if a website like this is indexed by search engines, it will not bring much value to the website.
Regarding the inclusion of new sites, Peng Yucheng has the following three suggestions based on experience:
· Mentality is very important. Don’t get angry if search engines, especially Baidu, fail to include your site in a week or two, scold Baidu, and hate yourself. Here is an example. Search engines include new sites just like a person who has just joined a new company. There is an inspection period. If you want the company to recognize you as soon as possible, you have to make good things and show them to the company. The same goes for search engines including new sites.
·Keep content updated, especially original content. If you can't write it yourself, you should be able to find some articles to revise. Pay attention to modifying the title, the first 100 words of the first paragraph of the content, and the last paragraph before uploading it to your website. Keyword optimization will be involved here. Regarding web pages, you can refer to "How to Optimize Web Pages" that I wrote before.
·Increase high-quality external links to the website. Methods to obtain high-quality external links include: leaving links on high-weight platforms and exchanging friendly links with high-weight websites. Generally, as the weight of the main domain name increases, the pages under it will be included faster.
The above three suggestions for new site inclusion are actually equally effective for old site inclusion changes. Let’s talk about the reasons for changes in website inclusion. The main reasons I listed that affect website inclusion are the following, which I have also encountered:
·Too much repetitive content. If the content of a website is usually reprinted without much modification, this reason will often lead to a sudden drop in the website's inclusion in a period of time, because Baidu's database will be sorted out after a period of time, and content that is repeated too many times will be was deleted.
·The content of the webpage is not of high quality. The quality mentioned here means that the web page has no substantial content. Although it is original, it cannot bring value to users due to low quality. Search engines may not include it. The search engine inclusion principles do not say that original content must be included. content.
·Server issues. Sometimes the instability of the server will lead to erratic changes in website inclusion. As long as the server stabilizes, the website inclusion will also stabilize.
·Algorithm adjustment. This is often mentioned in Baidu, but it is also an objective reason, and no one knows the mystery.
The above are some experiences I have summarized through practice after encountering changes in website inclusion. There are also some details such as dead links on the website that I will not explore. I just want to say to friends who have similar problems: when we encounter changes in website inclusion, especially a drop in inclusion.
First, look for the reason from your own website. Don’t blame Baidu or Google for not being good. First, do the work that is conducive to the inclusion of the website and then look at the situation. If it doesn’t get better, continue to persevere and work on it. To summarize, it would be strange if it is not included. Even sites that have been K-listed will re-include and rank you because of your persistence.
