1. Over-exploitation of potential customers. As long as they are manufacturers, merchants, and operators who have websites, they have all received phone sales calls from Baidu marketers, and it has gradually become harassment. It can be said that there are not many customers interested in bidding on Baidu. The recent incident of employees applying for labor arbitration in Baidu's Guangzhou branch can be seen as a direct result of the customer development speed being greatly reduced and the management's continuous pressure on employees.
2. The quality of the websites developed by development department employees has dropped significantly. I won’t go into details about this. Think about it, the good resources have been hollowed out in the early stage. What high-quality resources can be developed now? And the development department is only responsible for development. The company has committed to all the unreasonable demands of customers before bidding. For example, one click costs 0.3 yuan, and the monthly consumption does not exceed ** yuan... and other unrealistic things. In the later stage, customers will feel that they have been cheated.
3. The maintenance department is also blindly increasing customer account consumption. The first is to add countless related keywords to users, and there are fewer people searching for these long-tail words, so Baidu sets the starting price of these words very high according to their pricing rules. The second is to "accidentally" add smart matching to the user's words, which caused the consumption to go up immediately. I once tried it and spent 4,000 in less than a week because I trusted their maintenance staff too much. According to me, I have been doing Baidu bidding for many years. Based on the experience, this 4,000 yuan can last for a month.
4. Malicious clicks from peers continue to increase. Due to the click rules of Baidu's bidding system, if I use the same IP and the same machine and search for a certain word 15 minutes apart and then click, it will be calculated as one click. Peers can make fun of you when they are bored. If Baidu tells you You can get a refund for bad points, but that's only part of it. A friend's account was debited with more than 400 yuan in 4 days, and only more than 100 was returned (he told me that I can't judge what bad points are).
5. The company constantly adjusts the minimum starting price. The previous price of 0.3 yuan has long become a thing of the past. Since 2009, the minimum starting price has been raised three times in a row. Some words I am familiar with have suddenly risen from 0.3-0.5 yuan to 0.99 yuan, and now they have risen to 1.99-2.01 yuan. Calculated based on product profits and Baidu’s conversion rate, we are already losing money by making these words.
6. Baidu’s overconfident “Phoenix Nest” system has become a disappointment. The system’s inherent flaws and acquired blindness make it possible for it to become Baidu’s weak point. The inherent shortcoming is that the right side of the search results is originally Few people click on it. The disadvantage is that the price of "Phoenix Nest" is higher than the starting price of the classic version. Some words are 2.21 yuan from the beginning, and there is also a trend of gradual price increase. Most of them are 2.21 yuan. Price starts at 2.51. New profit growth points. Industry insiders are most optimistic about two items, one is the "Phoenix Nest" upgraded on the original product system, and the other is a search service based on wireless networks.
7. In the online advertising camp, no one can say that Baidu is not the leader of the pack.
8. Improper employment directly leads to the wrong direction. The current purpose of Baidu’s leadership is to do everything possible to improve efficiency, rather than to cultivate customers. Anyway, the customers’ water is drained, and the customers have no follow-up ability. They also It doesn't matter, just keep developing. There are still many fools in this world, including myself.
9. Technical problems are becoming increasingly serious. I have to suspect that Baidu’s veteran technical staff have left the company, and Baidu has also made big mistakes in technical issues and collection issues. For example, for a certain event or an article, Google can search for this article within 15 minutes, but Baidu is far away, what consequences will this have? It is that users cannot search for the latest things. And I also found that Baidu's spiders are the laziest. Google's spiders come to the same website thousands of times a day, but Baidu only visits it 2-3 times. How can it collect the latest information?
