Text: Case "Making money through online training"
I believe that the majority of webmaster friends are familiar with this topic! Because the people who do this have intensively "bombed" every forum and made this project very mysterious. With this, I also want to know how many people here have done it? How many people have made money? How much did you earn?
The author has personally experienced the puzzle of "making money through online training", and now I will reveal the tricks one by one for everyone:
1. Free training, pay the training fee after making money (a "good" start)
"Do you want to make money? Come on if you want, I can help you earn at least 100 yuan every day." - This is the first sentence the other customer service sent to me, which is very inflammatory.
Since it is training, what is the training? What exactly allows us to earn at least 100 yuan a day?
2. Online training is a trending Internet trend (the beginning of “brainwashing”)
The other party took the lead by taking advantage of the advantages of online training and the current trend of widespread use. However, "very unfortunately" I was exposed to online training in 2005. What did they train? There must be a product or a topic.
3. Online teaching allows you to achieve advertising income of 100 yuan per day (return to the topic)
It turns out that the product they sell is a training course that teaches you how to use advertising to achieve a daily income of 100 yuan. IMHO: With the outbreak of the financial crisis, some companies even cut advertising expenses to achieve company expenses. Are they so good?
4. As long as you buy two domain names from me and one with 200M space, I can let you do it (lead the snake out of its hole)
When I learned that it cost 380 yuan to buy these from them, I asked: Can I register a Com domain name? They replied: No, not to mention, Cn and Com are the same.
(CN domain name is 1 yuan/piece, and COM is at least 45 yuan/piece. I simply calculated that 2 CN domain names cost 2 yuan; 200M space cost calculation: the standard configuration of each server hard disk is basically 250GSATA, minus 50G , there are 200G, there are 1,000 200M! According to Wanwang’s rental fee of 7800/year, the cost of one 200M space is 7.8 yuan; 2 yuan + 7.8 yuan = 9.8 yuan).
Will they use Wanwang, one of the top service providers in the country? (Basically not, because I’m not sure, so I can’t say anything nonsense.)
Author's note: I spent 380 yuan to buy a product with a cost of only 9.8 yuan, and the loss went to my grandma's house.
5. You must use our domain name and space, otherwise it will not be difficult for us to manage you (it feels like going to jail)
If your own website cannot be used, you must use theirs. The key is that the domain name has no management rights, and the space only has FTP rights, which means that you have not purchased the website.
6. It doesn’t matter what the website you buy does, as long as it does it according to our requirements (can I make a pornographic website?)
The website was originally used to place all advertisements. I think anyone who has used free space knows how big the advertisements they put are.
But now let your eyes open. The upper half of a forum-style homepage is full of large and small banner ads, which is scary.
7. Let me show you a few websites. They are premium membership websites with a monthly income of more than 5,000 (I want to see these mysterious "big money-making websites")
I was given 6 websites. Since this case is not about the right people, the URLs will not be published.
I went in and took a look. I almost thought I had entered an advertising page. I looked carefully: the one with the least advertisements has 3 banners, and the one with the most advertisements has 8 banners.
Two days later, when I looked at these websites again, 4 of them had expired. I asked about them, and their reply was: Some made money and no longer wanted to do it, and some did not pay the tuition for the next level course.
I was depressed and immediately went to Wanwang to check the Whois of these domain names. When I checked, I was shocked. The owner of these 6 domain names was the same person, and the registration time was basically December 2008.
8. You are so annoying. If you want to do something, do it. If you don’t do it, I will be put down. I have so many people coming to consult me, but you don’t do it, so don’t bother me. You go and wire the money, send me the message, and I will continue to chat with you.
This was the last text they sent me. It sounded a bit like they were chatting with a paid video MM.
As for what he said about many people consulting him, he doesn't know whether it is true or not.
Decryption of the scam:
1. Use the profits that currently cannot be earned by most webmasters to seduce.
2. First tell you: "This is a free lunch, but after you finish eating, you need to pay a small fee", creating a "cost-effective" mentality among users.
3. Further use brainwashing methods similar to "pyramid schemes" to instill "we are legal".
4. Use international successful franchise chain models such as KFC and Panglao to explain their purpose of doing so.
5. When you have a certain amount of trust in them, they tell you that you can earn hundreds of dollars every day by spending only a small amount of money on purchases.
6. After you pay the fee, they will pay you to promote your website, such as blogs, spaces, forums, etc.
When you see Article 6, you still can’t see their “pyramid scheme” model at all. Here, I am very grateful to the deceived webmaster for providing favorable evidence: to outsiders, their ultimate goal seems to be to achieve "a hundred yuan a day" by earning advertising fees. In fact, the real way to make money is to use The structure of MLM is to form multi-level mutual deception and money fraud.
What I personally admire is that they used such a large banner advertisement as a cover, and I fell into the trap they set at the beginning.
Note: For example, suppose the fraudster is A: general agent (father), you are B: agent (son), and your downline is C: downline (grandson).
In this way, you become their agent, and your training program simply tells you how to trick others into buying your space and domain name. After someone buys your "product", A will tell you: use what I taught you Teach it to C, and I will teach you more advanced ones.
The author concludes:
A gentleman loves money and gets it wisely - I agree with webmaster friends who are eager to make their website profitable, but not every website can become "Hao123" or "YouTuBe" overnight, so persistence is important.
The above scam is a typical new online MLM model. Such a vicious circle will make more people fall for the scam and waste their money. You will also have to be scolded by your friends on the Internet.
Why do so many people fall for this scam? It's very simple, because they used the methods in real MLM to assist the application, which created a "good deal" mentality for those webmasters who have just entered the ranks of webmasters and need to make profits, but only after entering did they find that they had been cheated.
If people have not experienced MLM, they have no way of knowing that such a method is developed using the MLM model.
