Dedicated to all entrepreneurial webmasters and corporate website managers. Some of the old techniques still apply (for example, writing new content every day), and you may already know that bringing in traffic is not easy, it requires hard work, decisions, and is physical work. So, if you’re ready, roll up your sleeves, follow the steps below, and within a year, you’ll get enough traffic to keep you busy.
1.Domain name
If you want your business name to be branded, choose a domain name that accurately reflects it. If your company is called China Industrial Computer Network, then register it, if unfortunately it has already been registered. Do not use horizontal bars, and try not to use more than two word combinations. For example, my website www.chnipc.com uses two words, which are CHN (China abbreviation) and IPC (Industrial Computer abbreviation in English).
2. Keyword Research
Before making any move, use a keyword tool to do an extensive research to see which keywords apply to your site. What keywords are used by your direct competitors? Are there some keywords with market potential that you haven’t discovered yet? Maybe you can open up another brand new situation from them?
3. Avoid sandbox testing
After you determine your keywords and business name, buy your domain name as early as possible. Set up the site as soon as possible, put up a simple page to tell others who you are, what you do, and the detailed content of the website will come out immediately. Make sure it's crawled by Google and Yahoo! (Can submit or link to this site from other sites)
4. Create content
Create 30 pages of authentic, original content for your site. This gives spiders something to look for, and it also gives you the opportunity to learn more about your keywords from search engine results.
5. Corporate website design
Stick to the "keep it simple" policy. Call an external asp file, clear the JavaScript code on the page, use an external file to call them instead, do not use frames, use Flash in the same way as pictures, and never make the entire site Flash. Don't make your site too fancy to clutter your visitors. Keep it clean and simple. Allow viewers to easily find what they need without looking around.
6. Page size
The smaller the KB size of your page, the better - especially the homepage. Optimize those images so the page loads faster. Most people and businesses in the West have very fast internet speeds, but in other countries or using mobile phones this may not be the case. If your site loads slowly, you may be losing visitors before they even get accessed.
7.Availability
Make sure your site follows some usability rules. Remember, people spend more time on other sites, so don’t challenge design habits. Do not use PDF files for online reading. Use different colors for visited connections and use good headers and headers. Check out some more usability tips that will help you a lot.
8. Site Optimization
Use your chosen keywords in the title (the most important), and try to include them in both the title and text. Make sure your pages/content is about these keywords. If you’re selling gadgets, write about gadgets. Don’t just repeat the word gadget in your text.
9. Station connection
Site-wide links are links that are the same on every page. They help new arrivals avoid getting lost. Sometimes they appear on the left side of the page, sometimes in small blocks at the top. Sometimes they are also at the bottom of the page. Make sure each of your pages has old-school style site-wide links. I usually put nugget style at the top of the page and text style at the bottom. See which method works best for you.
10.Header
Use bold headers. People often just scan the Internet without reading carefully. So basically, all they can see is the header. If your header isn’t eye-catching enough, people may not stick with your content for long. If possible, use keywords sparingly.
11. Corporate site map
Create a corporate site map that includes links to all pages in the site. Stay updated. It helps spiders reach every page. Put a text link to the sitemap on the main page.
12.Content
Add a new page every 2 to 3 days, 200 to 500 words. The content should be original and do not copy others. The more original and useful the content is, the more people will read it, connect to it, and most importantly – come back in the future.
13. Optimize appropriately
Stay away from over-optimizing techniques. Over-optimization refers to using any means to improve rankings, using methods that search engines do not agree with, such as keyword stacking, doorway pages, invisible text, etc. For long-term considerations, optimization must be done appropriately. Sites optimized for cheating usually seek short-term results, such as pornography, gambling, and black markets. (Just look at the spam you've received.) These cheating sites are usually just enough for one campaign cycle.
14.Articles
Write an article every week and publish it in as many online publications as possible. (Attach a link back to your business website) Place these articles on your own business website as well. Not only will this create a lot of links to your website, but it will also encourage people to click to your website, and most importantly, you will appear as an expert in the eyes of your visitors! They may start searching for your name to find your website. Woolen cloth.
15. Submit
Submit to 4 groups of directories:
1. If you are targeting the local market, you must join the Yellow Pages. (Because search engines use these lists to run local searches)
2. Find your industry directory and join them. If you have to pay, it also depends on whether the price is reasonable.
3. The local directory of the country or region where you are located.
4. Any other suitable directory.
16. Blog
Start a blog about your industry and write a new article at least weekly. Allow visitors to leave comments or even write their own articles on it. This creates more content and keeps people remembering to come back to see what's new.
17.External connections
Simply submit your site to the appropriate sites, ask them to link to you, and tell them it will benefit their visitors. But don’t spend too much time here. If you have original and good content, they will naturally find you and connect to you. Remember, if "content is king", then "connection is second". Stay away from reciprocal connections, connection farms, ghost connections, and any other unnatural connections. They won't necessarily hurt you, but Google tracks it all: when you got a connection, how long ago you got a connection, who is connecting to your website now, where you live, what you had for breakfast, etc. . (It's a bit of a joke, but it's true)
18. Statistics
Make sure your server has a good statistics program and take advantage of it. If you can't get a good one, pay to get one if you can. If you don't know information about your visitors, such as who is visiting, where they come from, how often they visit, etc., you will be confused about how to improve your website because you don't have these basic tools.
19. Remember
Write a new page every 2-3 days. I'm just mentioning it briefly, but in fact this may be the most crucial point in this entire article. If you keep writing without fresh content, your corporate website will slowly fall down in the search engines. To stay number one, your website must have the fastest updated, freshest and most attractive original content in your field.
20.Look forward
Stay up to date on the latest developments in your market direction. If a new product is coming out next season, write about it on the website now. Strike first and both search engines and connectors will reward you.
