The Firelands are a molten realm forged by the Titans to imprison Ragnaros and his lawless minions. With the reappearance of Deathwing in Azeroth, Ragnaros led his minions to swarm out of Mount Hyjal, only to be repulsed by the heroic defenders of the Holy Mountain. Now, Ragnaros is gathering his followers to prepare against the heroes of Azeroth's attack on the Firelands.
Mother of the Emberweb Spiders, Beth'tilak and her ruthless offspring satisfy their appetites by sucking the lava and fire from the remains of the fire elemental. In order to provide more nourishment for her offspring, Bethtilak weaved a huge web of fire around her lair to trap prey that strayed into it.
Leolith is one of the oldest living elementals, born from the fire that created Azeroth. He was responsible for creating new elements in the Firelands, and he still burns a hatred in his chest for what he believed to be the arrogance of the Titans who relocated him.
As Ragnaros's forces poured into Mount Hyjal, the green dragon Alythra betrayed the allies and helped free the renegade archdruid Fandral Staghelm. As a reward, she was purified by fire and reborn as a fearsome fire hawk.
Among the elemental guardians of the Fire Land, fire demons are the most terrifying type. Shane Knox is no exception. As the chief hunter and handler of the Molten Hounds under Ragnaros's tent, Shannox patrols the realm of the elements, accompanied by two of the most ferocious beasts: Splitlimb and Madface. .
During the Elemental Wars of ancient Azeroth, Bell'rok rose to fame as a ruthless warrior, but now trapped in the Land of Fire, he has become increasingly irrational. Few elements dared to disturb him, for fear of being sacrificed to his desire to fight.
The loss of his beloved son Valstann at the Battle of the Quicksand completely broke Fandral Staghelm's spirit. Now, he is empowered by Ragnaros. He became the new administrator of the Land of Fire (replacing Death's administrator, Exottus), and also served as the leader of the Flame Druids who betrayed the Cenarion Circle. Fandral would rather destroy Azeroth than live in a world without his beloved son.
Fandral Staghelm was a former archdruid who succeeded Malfurion Stormrage as leader when he was haunted by the Emerald Nightmare. He fought with Tyrande Whisperwind for leadership of the night elves, and was one of the architects of the plan to plant Teldrassil. It was later discovered that Fandral had been corrupted by the nightmare, and it was he who was doing everything possible to prevent Malfurion from awakening. Eventually Fandral fell into madness and was imprisoned by the Cenarion Circle. While escorted from Mount Hyjal to Moonglade, he was kidnapped by the Fire Lord's men and became the new steward of the Firelands until he was killed along with Ragnaros in the final battle.
All druids must sleep in the Emerald Dream from time to time, including Fandral. But Fandral still managed to raise a son, Valstann Staghelm. Although Fandral has a bad temper, he loves his son very much. Even though his son is married and has children, he still cares deeply about his son. Valstann's wife's name was Layara. Fandral's wife died while giving birth to Valstann, so his son and daughter-in-law were actually his only living relatives.
4500 years before the First War, Fandral took some branches from Nordrassil, the world tree, and planted them on the Saronite iron veins that spread crazily around the world, including the Grizzly Hills, which was the most affected. Five of the saplings grew into towering trees, and he named the one in Grizzly Hills Andrassil. Malfurion Stormrage and other members of the Cenarion Circle were furious when they learned that the saplings had been planted without the council's permission. But they do acknowledge that the program has had some effect. For decades, Andrassil towered over Northrend, and everything seemed harmonious. However, the good times did not last long, and a bloody battle broke out between the yaks and forest dryads of Northrend, but these two races have always been known for their peace-loving nature. The fighting was sudden and shocking, full of savagery and unspeakable despicability. Word reached the druids, and the Cenarion Circle organized an expedition to investigate the source of the violence.
What the druids discovered sent chills to their bones. Andrassil's roots run deep, reaching into the ancient underground prison of Yogg-Saron. The ancient gods imbued the tree with evil power, and all living creatures in the area were slowly driven mad. The Cenarion Circle knew that without the Aspect's blessing, Andrassil was powerless against the damage of corruption. They also realized that they could not ignore the tree's current condition, but they could not alleviate its suffering either. The Council could only decide to destroy Andrassil. The fallen tree became known as Vordrassil, the Broken Crown.
While the destruction of Andrassil was heartbreaking, the Cenarion Circle was also satisfied that it prevented the rampant spread of saronite. But the druids didn't know that something dark had taken root in the Emerald Dream. Yogg-Saron used the giant tree planted by Fandral as a gateway to the Emerald Dream - and the little seeds of corruption spread throughout Ysera's kingdom. Over time, these seeds spread and corrupted the Emerald Dream. This was the origin of what came to be known as the "Emerald Nightmare."
About a thousand years before the First War, Fandral suffered a huge blow and pain that no one of his people had experienced since the Sundering. Things began in the desert of Silithus, which was the southernmost point of night elf territory at the time. Creatures called the Qiraji have raised an army in the desert for their terrifying Old God master, C'Thun. They fought a war with the night elves under Fandral for control of Kalimdor. With the help of his son Valstann, Fandral demonstrated his excellent leadership and military talents. The Qiraji gave Staghelm the name Kar'sis, meaning Hand of the Earth. The two sides fell into a tug-of-war in Silithus. The insect general Lajax believed that the night elves' defenses would be exhausted sooner or later, but the twin emperors of the Qiraji Empire were unwilling to wait for an attrition victory. They ordered General Rajax to find a way to quickly defeat the Earth Hand. After some time, Rajax realized that the only weakness in Staghelm's iron will was his son.
In a feint orchestrated by the Qiraji, Valstann fell into their hands and was torn to pieces before Fandral's eyes. Valstann's death completely crushed the archdruid, and even more so, he was implanted in the hearts of many night elf soldiers. The Qiraji did not miss this perfect opportunity and swarmed out from Silithus again, attacking the city and advancing to the Tanaris Desert in the east. This reckless attack angered the bronze dragons, causing them to take action. Under the leadership of Anachronos, they gathered assistance from the three dragon legions of red dragon, green dragon and blue dragon. Many powerful dragons joined the night elves' formation and worked together to pull them away with the quicksand scepter. The insect army was sealed in the Beetle Wall.
The threat of the insect men ended, but Fandral did not feel even a small amount of relief. The death of Valstann still haunted him, and he immediately smashed the Scepter of Quicksand into pieces. In hatred and disgust for the world, he stormed off.
After the Third War, the night elves lost Nordrassil and their immortality. Shortly thereafter, Malfurion fell into a deep coma and slept in his den in Moonglade. No one knew why or how to wake him up. In his absence, druid leadership was passed to Fandral Staghelm, who became the new Archdruid. During Malfurion's slumber, he became the primary liaison between the druids and the Sentinels.
Even before his coma, Malfurion opposed Fandral's plan to plant a new World Tree. After Malfurion fell into a coma, Fandral met with other key members of the Cenarion Circle and, without Malfurion's objections, convinced them of the wisdom of planting a new World Tree. Most of these druids believed Fandral's claims, and together they created Teldrassil. Through the efforts of the druids, Teldrassil was planted off the northern coast of Kalimdor, and most of the night elves moved into the canopy of the New World Tree. However, this act did not receive the dragon's blessing like Nordrassil. Teldrassil quickly grew into a towering tree that towered over northern Kalimdor and became the new home of the Kaldorei. But Fandral's New World Tree isn't perfect. The night elves did not regain immortality, and corruption soon began to spread across Teldrassil, with satyrs, lemures, and other foul creatures making their homes in the trees.
Fandral's actions as leader of the Cenarion Circle are even more controversial and unsavory than his past actions. He often clashed with Tyrande Whisperwind, the High Priestess of Elune and de facto leader of the Sentinels. Fandral has always upheld the night elves' sense of racial superiority and believed that aggressive military action against the orcs in Durotar was necessary. Fandral seemed to have finally recovered from the shock of his son's death, but he also retained an unpleasant pride and selfishness. He made no secret of his strong disgust for Malfurion's student, the tauren druid Hamuul Runetotem.
In the classic old world, Archdruid Fandral Staghelm was located in the Cenarion District of Darnassus. He was one of the two leader-level NPCs of the night elves.
When the PCs respond to Archdruid Fandral's call, they first have to bring some soil samples from Un'Goro Crater back to the Archdruid's assistants. The druids then explained their plans to study morningweed, a plant whose uses were poorly understood. By growing morninggrain for the Cenarion Circle, players are rewarded with a bag containing a variety of supplies - food, drink, potions, and more. The council's demand for Dawn Wheat is endless. The more Dawn Wheat it brings, the greater the reward will be.
Quintis Jonespyre, a druid in Feathermoon Keep, expressed concern that Fandral was purchasing large amounts of morningwheat in the name of the Cenarion Circle. Quintis heard that morning wheat could be used as a material for primitive curse rituals under certain conditions. However, Fandral explained that this was simply a study of the properties of grains growing in the soil found in Un'Goro Crater.
Fandral meets the druid Broll Bearskin and his human companion Lo'Gosh (Varian Wrynn). Broll returned to Darnassus to report that the statue of Remulos had been purified. Staghelm suggested that since Broll and his friends had many more adventures planned, it would be prudent to place the statue of Remulos at his place. Although Logosh was skeptical of Fandral's motives, Broll agreed.
Later, he used the idol to summon Broll back to Darnassus from the illusion.
A few months after the Lich King was defeated, Fandral gathered many druids to Teldrassil and launched a grand plan to heal the giant tree. Naralex, Broll Bearskin, and Hamuul Runetotem are all included in this list. He planned to use a statue of Remulos to complete this plan, and rejected Broll's better suggestions. However, before the ritual could be completed, Tyrande arrived, as she had been warned by Elune that Malfurion's life was facing a greater threat. It was later discovered that Staghelm's plan did not actually purify the tree, but was responsible for corrupting it. Fandral first grafted a nightmare branch onto the World Tree, and when he led the Cenarion Circle to infuse energy into the World Tree, he actually spawned corruption. To be precise, Fandral has long since fallen into a pawn of the Nightmare King Xavius. During the War of the Ancients, Xavius was defeated by Malfurion and imprisoned under a tree in the Emerald Dream.
Xavius, now known as the Nightmare King, serves the dark force behind the Emerald Nightmare. He appeared to Fandral in the form of Valstann Staghelm. Fandral could never forgive himself for his inability to save his son, and Xavius preyed on his guilt and rage, ultimately driving him into madness and blinding him to the truth. He comes to believe that Valstein has returned to him, and that everything "Vastein" urges him to do is for the greater good. He used morning wheat to trap Malfurion in a dream, and grafted the corrupted branches of Xavius onto the newly reborn giant tree Teldrassil. All of these he did because he believed that this would make him The son fully recovered.
Although Naralex, Shandris Feathermoon, and Hamuul Runetotem discovered Fandral's betrayal, Fandral captured the three of them and imprisoned them in Cenarion Sector. When Malfurion finally came back to free the three of them, the truth was finally revealed.
During the Nightmare War, Fandral's delusions were finally shattered, Valstann's visions were destroyed, and he fell into complete madness. Although Malfurion once again successfully defeated Xavius, Fandral had to endure the pain of losing a son again. After the victory in the Nightmare War, the druids took Fandral to the prison of Mount Hyjal, where Illidan Stormrage had been imprisoned, in the hope that he would one day regain his sanity, although many believed that he had suffered a complete mental breakdown.
While the mentally broken Fandral lay in prison on Mount Hyjal, his daughter-in-law Leyana and granddaughter Astaliya lived in Astrana, the night elf territory of Ashenvale. The druids of Moonglade ultimately decided that they were not equipped to help a spirit as powerful and damaged as Fandral recover. The orc horde attacked Ashenvale, burning Astranaar and killing Valastarn's daughter, destroying the last link between Fandral and his son.
When Ragnaros's forces began to attack, the green dragon Alythra was worried that the Twilight's Hammer would use Fandral's knowledge of the night elves for evil purposes, and decided to escort him to Moonglade for safety. Ysera was very concerned about this action and thought it was very unreliable. Ysera's worries were not groundless, as it was proven that Alysera had actually degenerated into an agent of Ragnaros, and handed Fandral directly into the hands of the Fire Lord and the Twilight's Hammer cultists. Somehow, they restored Fandral's mental state, and Fandral, driven by the anger of losing his beloved son, launched his revenge against the world.
Because the tribe killed Fandral's granddaughter in the previous attack on Ashenvale, he saw the grief of his daughter-in-law's loss, and it was very similar to him. He regarded Leyana as his spiritual support and the only remaining fragment of his memory. Fandral visited Leyana and told her that he wanted to establish a new order of druids, and that he would not stand by and let the tribes slaughter their children and plunder their lands. Lyana became the first Druid of Fire under Fandral, serving the Fire Lord Ragnaros and the Old Gods behind him in a twisted way.
Fandral himself became a member of Ragnaros's service and replaced Master Exottus as governor of the Firelands. Soon after, Fandral faced his former mentor Malfurion directly and attacked Aggra and Thrall who came to aid the Guardians of Hyjal. Fandral, now known as the "Prophet of Twilight", declared that Thrall was a huge threat. Although he could not kill him directly, Fandral corrupted his connection with the elements and tore Thrall's consciousness into pieces. A few fragments of raw emotion.
Now as Ragnaros' new steward of the Firelands and leader of the treacherous Fire Druids, Fandral seeks to burn everything on Azeroth, destroying the world without his beloved children.
In the end, Fandral Staghelm was killed by the heroes of the Guardians of Hyjal in the Firelands, bringing an end to Staghelm's era.
Ragnaros, Lord of the Firelands, symbolizes rage and destruction, just like the original hellfire that forged Azeroth. The Old God assured Ragnaros that he had a chance to turn Azeroth into a sea of fire, and Neptulon and Therazane would be unable to do anything about it. To please the Old Gods, Ragnaros vowed to set the world tree of Nordrassil on fire.
After Molten Core, the fire demon Ragnaros reappeared in the Warcraft expansion pack "Cracked Earth": and served as the guardian BOSS in the copy "Fireland" waiting for players to challenge. The primal hellfire that forged Azeroth, its destruction and fury personified in the Firelord, Ragnaros the Firelord. Ragnaros intended to satisfy the Old Gods by burning the World Tree of Nordrassil so that he could turn Azeroth into a sea of fire without interference from Neptulon and Therazane. opportunity.
With the death of the Aspect Malygos, the blue dragonflight debates over choosing a new leader. Now they are divided into two factions, supporting the two most promising successors: Kalecgos, who is committed to peaceful coexistence with other races; and Arygos, the scion of Malygos, who advocates leaving the world and finding another way. In order to end this endless debate, the blue dragonflight decided to gather during the Double Moon Embrace - a special astrological phase when the two moons of Azeroth align - to elect a new guardian.
But Anachronos, the bronze dragon, has recently discovered portents of this ill-fated ritual to come. This dragon who has witnessed endless time has insight into the evil magical energy fluctuations near the Demon Nexus, which is the blue dragonflight's frozen lair in Northrend. With this discovery, he glimpsed the horror of Azeroth succumbing to flames. Although the connection between this horrifying omen and the blue dragonflight is unclear, Anachronos summoned some creatures deemed "ephemeral" for further investigation. If no hero rises to the challenge to discover the truth, the destruction of Azeroth that Anachronos foresaw could become a reality.
Mission Objective - Talk to Anachronos in the Cave of Light at the same time
Mission Description - I knew I would find you here, after all we bronze dragons are good at this.
"Soli Domi smiled"
For reasons unknown to me, the Master seeks your hearing. I hope you will treat this invitation with caution. Anachronos rarely comes into contact with mortals. If you are wise, seek him out immediately outside the Caverns of Time.
Let me know when you're ready and I'll send you there.
Mission Objective - Talk to Anachronos to witness the future of Azeroth
Mission Description - Listen, although we have just begun, time is running out and the consequences of failure are dire. A recent incident was concealed from my sight by the most powerful magic, but its consequences did not escape observation.
If action is not taken to correct the clock, our end will be near. Take courage, mortals, and look at the future of Azeroth.
Mission Objective - Collect 25 Living Embers and 3 Sands of Time
Task description - I sense the doubts in your mind, and I am not confident like you. To me such roles are both rare and disturbing. As I search time for clues to obscured events, you must assist me in creating this eye, which is both a test of your worth and the means necessary to unravel the mystery.
Break into the Throne of Fire to collect living embers and bring them to me along with the Sands of Time to create this eye.
Mission goal—bring the Eye of Eternity to Dread Island
Mission Description - Our time is not in vain, mortals.
As you fought your way through the Throne of Fire, my observers and I determined the location and, most importantly, the time of the cover-up. The Shroud is located in the Nexus (Arcane Core), the territory of the Northern Blue Dragonflight.
I have tuned into the Eye of Eternity to show you some events that are still hidden. Go to Dread Island immediately to find a place to place the eye.
Bon voyage, friend.
Mission objective - Use the Eye of Eternity in the Void Vortex in the Heart of Arcana. Meet Talegosa there and she will lead you to the rift.
Mission Description - Talegosa listens to you explain why you are here
Your story rings true, so much has changed since Malygos died - and most of it badly. I know what you carry, and the magic of Anachronos can be felt in it. There is only one place on the Isle of Dread where it is safe to use the Eye of Eternity.
If you want to succeed, you need my help. Talk to me in the Arcane Heart and I will help you.
Mission Objective - Talk to Kalecgos in Nordrassil on Mount Hyjal
Mission description - This is impossible! How dare Aregos do this. It's not that I don't believe in your sincerity, but you must understand that your mortal minds are easily deceived.
Regardless, Kalecgos needs to be notified of these matters, and you need to meet him in Nordrassil immediately. I will stay here to clean up the traces of our activities. Remember not to talk to anyone except Kalre!
Mission Objective—Retrieve Nordrassil Branches from the Firelands
Task description - I don't have time to immediately investigate what you said, which means that this task will be left to you. An ancient magic far beyond the supernatural dragged me here, and what followed was even more disturbing.
A branch of Nordrassil was plucked and sent to the Firelands, where a ritual might corrupt the World Tree and burn it to death. You must interrupt the ritual and retrieve the Branch of Nordrassil.
Mission objective - Talk to Kalecgos and give him the Branch of Nordrassil
Mission Description – A lot has become clear since we last spoke. I have to go to the Heart of Arcana in person to get back Anachronos' things, and of course I have to use them myself. It's time for me to see what you see.
Before we discuss our next steps, please allow me to thank you for your assistance here and in the Firelands. Give me the branch of Nordrassil.
Mission Objective - Accompany Kalecgos to Dread Island and talk to him when ready.
Mission Description - Now, back to the matter at hand. . . I'm convinced that Deathwing engineered the scene in the Arcane Heart to sneak in and create conflict among my dragons. If we fall into internal strife, he will benefit.
Awareness of the difficulties led me to choose a cautious path. I have to bring Talegosa back and extract her essence until the time comes to make a choice.
Mission Objective - Speak with Kalecgos to support his claims.
Mission description - I owe her protection, she sacrificed for me. I can't lose her, so please accept my private request.
No mortal has ever carried the essence of dragonkind, but I will try to do so if you allow me. Please, while her life still exists, can you allow me to bind her to you?
Mission Objective - Collect 25 Boiling Ashes from the Fire Realm
Mission Description - Talegosa has been bound to you, but only temporarily. Only the magic of the guardian dragon can seal her essence forever. The selection of Malygos's successor will take place during the next lunar eclipse, but the current magic is not enough to last until then.
Fortunately, there is a way to survive this period. The powerful elemental power can continue the effect of the ritual. You can find these things in the Throne of Fire. Get them and let Talegosa support you until the lunar eclipse.
Mission objective - Accompany Kalecgos to attend the Blue Dragon Conference. When you're ready, go to Dread Island and talk to him.
Quest Description - The date has arrived, and although only members of the Blue Dragonflight can participate, being bound to Talegosa will give you the necessary camouflage.
I ask you to vote for her in her guise. Don't wait too long, the lunar eclipse is coming. . .
Mission goal—obtain the Heart of Fire
Task description - You are the first mortal to witness the Dragon Clan meeting, and the only one among all living beings in Azeroth to participate in the selection of the Aspect Dragon. My rise in status has brought incredible power. I've been able to tie Tarecgosa to you, though she should have had one more. . . Permanent residence.
I wish you could enter the Throne of Fire one last time and bring me the Heart of Ragnaros. The next time we meet, I will thank you for everything you have done.
Mission objective - in Stormwind City/Ogma, talk to Harecgosa/watch Kalecgos' ritual
Task Description - It's an honor to meet you. Your deeds echo in the ears of all living beings in Azeroth.
I will give the Heart of Ragnaros to Kalecgos. Its power is used to strengthen your weapons. The ceremony is about to begin and I will escort you there when you are ready.
