In view of the fact that more and more people in the local area network are interested in ftp servers, and ServU can be regarded as a better ftp server tool under windows. In order to facilitate everyone to open an ftp site, the following simple tutorial is specially produced, which only involves the most basic settings. Taking ServU3.09 as an example, the others are basically similar:
1. First install ServU (if it is already installed, you can jump directly to the second step). You can find the relevant software from ftp://10.83.34.33/pub/net/server/servu. The installation is basically step-by-step. It is shareware and has a certain period of use. You can use crack. How to use it: Download the relevant software (cr-su309.exe), find the directory of this file under dos or cmd, and enter cr-su309, as shown in the figure:
Fill in your name and company name (just pull it in, don’t be too short)
You can get the key, and then you can copy it to the cut version. In win2000, you can select the key, right-click and the copy will be successful. In winxp, you can select all, ctrl+c to copy, and get the key you want. When the following screen appears, the crack is successful. Go to the second step:
2. Add a domain and skip to step three if you wish.
First, in New Domain in Domains, the following interface appears:
Select the IP of the open service and proceed to the next step:
Fill in the domain name as long as it doesn't confuse you, and then proceed by default:
After successful establishment, the following interface will appear:
3. Create a user (already created, go to step 4)
In the domain you just created (aaa), Users——>New User, before New, it is best to create a User directory in the root directory of a certain partition to store the home directories of each user. For example, I created a User directory on the g drive. , and create an anonymous directory in it, and then you can New. First enter the User name (user name, anonymous is the default anonymous, skipping the second step of setting the password)
Set the home directory, I set it in G:useranonymous
Then ask whether to lock the home directory. For system security, it is recommended to lock it.
Just reload it in the activity:
4. Create a virtual directory
In settings——>Virtual path mappings——>add
Enter the directory you want to open, such as f:pub
Which directory the input is mapped to is usually the user's home directory (here is g:useranonymous), but of course it depends on the specific situation.
Mapping name, you want others to see the name of this directory, such as pub
After the establishment was successful, I found that there was one more Virtual path mappings.
5. Add permissions to users
As shown in the figure, add in Dir Access and enter the permission directory, which is the directory you want to open just now, here it is f:pub
Finish, you will be successful when you see the following screen:
Of course, this is just a brief introduction to the use of ServU. As for the complexity, you can slowly explore it yourself.
