Looking at yesterday’s Google Advertising report, I found that two new websites that were established less than 2 weeks ago and were not included in Baidu had ads displayed less than 20 times, but each was clicked once, and both cost 0.11 dollars. I feel very relieved. It’s more satisfying than $1 a day at other stations. 1. The difference in unit price of advertising
After more than half a year of hard work, soubq.com, the first website since relearning how to make a website in A5, finally stabilized at 1200ip. Google's daily clicks range from 30 to 80 times and cost 0.5-0.8 dollars. The click-through rate is quite low, and the unit price is also quite low. Later, I heard about the concept of optimizing advertising space at a webmaster gathering, and I researched it hard. First of all, I found that the unit click price of entertainment sites is quite low, and I used to work on entertainment-related sites, so the unit price was very low. Low. For example, on this QQ site, one click costs 0.01-0.05 US dollars. Later, I built a multi-language foreign language website, and a friend helped me click on it. The price was $0.30, which was dozens of times worse. It's just that the English website is too rubbish, and I'm not good at foreign languages, so I just tested it and didn't seriously develop it.
Later, I tested the industry website and found that each click was basically above 0.1 US dollars, which was much better than the entertainment website. For example, http://www.52fengshou.cn, an agricultural industry website, has only been established for two months. When the IP is 100, Google's revenue is already comparable to that of soubq.com1000 IP. I only get clicked 3-5 times a day. The unit price per click is more than 10 times higher. As for www.52link.net, a webmaster service site, it was a batch link query site launched after the Chinese New Year this year. It now has 1,000 IPs and a daily Google search of more than $1.
2. The effect of advertising optimization.
However, although the unit price of these two industry websites is much higher than that of the entertainment website, the advertising space has not been specially optimized, so the income is far lower than that of the expert websites. So we worked hard in this area and created a creative advertising website www.dimad.cn and an entrepreneurial knowledge lecture www.ruhechuangye.com. These two websites were put into operation in early May, and have not yet been included in Baidu. They were clicked on ads yesterday, and the unit price is not too low, with a click-through rate of 4.35% and a profit rate of US$4.77 per thousand impressions. The click-through rate of my entertainment website is generally 0.0X%.

1. Place the Google link ad code where the navigation bar is placed on the general website, and move the navigation bar to another location.
2. Try to place advertisements on the right side, because it is easy to accidentally click on advertisements by operating the scroll bar. This is what experts told me.
3. Maximize the number of ads.
Just optimizing the ad position is not enough. I found that these two optimized templates still have serious problems, that is, the number of ads is too small and does not reach the maximum allowed by Google. Now that I’m working on Google. To take it to the extreme, Google stipulates that graphic ad codes can be placed three times on the same page, and link ads can also be placed three more times. That is 6 times. There are only 3 advertising codes placed on the homepages of these two websites. It's still half way to the upper limit. However, considering that frequent changes to the template are very detrimental to SEO, we will not move for the time being, and we will take this issue into consideration for subsequent sites. So when I was building a software industry website, www.cannac.com.cn, I put all these 3+3 advertisements on the homepage, but the placement was based on the template and the effect was not very good.
4. Concentrate all factors and make a template specifically for estimating an advertisement.
The website I built recently is a very simple single-column site, and I tried my best to bring out all the above factors. It is a template specially optimized for Google. I placed 3 image and text codes and 3 link codes, and the advertising positions were allocated according to user habits. I made a simple website equivalent to a blog as a pilot.
