In 1998, I finally graduated from South China University of Technology. Several people in our dormitory had always wanted to develop e-commerce websites. Ajun was the most powerful programming expert in our grade.
We made an address book for our class that is similar to the current alumni network. Although the functions are not as comprehensive as Facebook, it can definitely attract users to register. It was a sensation at the time, and professors from CUHK also discussed with us how to develop this website. Later, after graduation, everyone was looking for jobs, and many students went to large companies.
Developing a website also requires funds. If you rely on advertising fees, it will be difficult to make a living. The Internet was just developing at that time. In fact, we were all optimistic about this industry and we were full of confidence. Soon the site became unsustainable and we shut it down. Later that studio was left to my management. I found a job relatively late. My girlfriend was worried about me and told me to find a real job and not waste time and energy on websites.
I was not very technical at that time, and we were all using DOS. Thinking about it now, it was very troublesome to go to the website, and we had to dial up and so on!
By 2000, I started making websites, using Microsoft's ASP+IIS. At that time, I felt that making web pages was much simpler. It was another day of hard work. The development of the Internet was too fast, and the update of our technology was too slow. , the emergence of .NET in 2003 almost caused many people to collapse. The back-end code and the presentation page were separated, which made it easier to build a website.
At that time, a young colleague asked me: object-oriented things. I was surprised because I found that many people were switching to OO development. Several of my good friends switched to SUN (java). That was when java had just come out and was said to be the best programming language. However, they did not receive Microsoft support at the beginning. I didn’t learn any more support.
Later, when I switched to the days of learning .NET, many things in the past were not as convenient as the current language. I am almost 30 years old and I am still on the road of programming. It is indeed very hard, but it is also very happy. Every time I solve a problem, I scream with excitement and kiss my wife passionately. Ha ha
In recent years, there have been more and more new technologies. With the arrival of web 2.0, browsers support asynchronous transmission, Ajax has become popular, and some people use web pages to develop websites similar to applications, imitating the current interface. This almost made a lot of people very excited.
In particular, the emergence of XML has led to the emergence of many technologies, and now you can build a website online.
In recent years, although I sometimes code, I am indeed not as energetic as those backup people who also have families.
Now I am running a company and website with my friends. We are optimistic about the 3G era. Mobile software will definitely have great development prospects. For the children who are studying now, J2ME may be the direction of development. Mobile games can definitely occupy a share of the market.
Now my friend wants to start a mobile online game and has invested more than 5 million RMB. I hope we can make it bear fruit. Several years of IT life passed by in the blink of an eye, and the only things left behind can only be recalled slowly at night through photos and diaries...
