I believe that the webmasters who read this article have been working hard on this front for several years. A few years ago, you may have embarked on this career because of hobbies, dreams, or other reasons. At the point of no return, some may have tasted the sweetness, but I think countless others have tasted all the ups and downs.
Today I will speak from my four years of experience as a webmaster (perhaps also the experience of most webmasters). Four years ago, my hobby led me to enter the "great" industry of Internet webmasters. Because I didn't understand technology at all, I encountered great difficulties at the beginning. At that time, there were some free CMS programs on the Internet, so at that time I downloaded a lot of programs to use them, but they still didn’t work and I couldn’t build a website at all. Later, a friend introduced me to ASP.NET Dongyi. I remember that Dongyi was still version 4.0 at that time. After downloading Dongyi, it was indeed I was fascinated by its simplicity and ease of use. From then on, I got out of hand and really started to work like a human webmaster. I often visited the forum. Sometimes in order to solve a problem, it took a day or two to solve it. Then At that time, I really admired myself. Since I am engaged in graphic design, I made some templates for netizens to download for free, and of course I received a lot of appreciation and encouragement from them. Soon after that, I officially established a real Internet site, which means buying my own space and domain name, which were all free before. Haha, I was too poor to do anything at that time. In the following year, due to various reasons, the website moved N times. During the move, N websites were also lost due to mistakes. But I didn’t feel too sad. After all, making websites was still a hobby at that time. Later, I moved to the PHP camp, and began to explore the PHP website program day and night, and slowly got started. I became proficient in building websites and later built N sites N times before giving up halfway.
More than two years have passed like this, and my thoughts have gradually changed. I can no longer rely solely on hobbies to make a website. I must find ways to make money, so I have the idea of starting over again, so I decided to buy another one. Good space, I started a new website and worked hard to develop towards my goals. Since I can build five sites in my space, I thought of five sites that I thought would make a lot of money, so that each site could earn a little bit. The five in total should be pretty good. In the past two years, , I remodeled my site several times, and almost all my time was spent on it. In this way, I earned two GG money in more than a year, which was only 200USD, but with what I paid It was completely out of proportion. After that, no matter how hard I tried, I still didn’t make much breakthrough. I only made a little bit of money per site, and the traffic never came up. Promotion was not in place. There were too many sites and I couldn’t handle it. After all, I was an individual. Webmaster. Each website updates so many documents every day, and I am exhausted to death! During these times, I often wonder how to develop better, and I begin to realize the real problem, and realize that I am struggling alone. I have to give up some things. It’s not just about having more websites. You don’t get more by having more websites. You need to be specialized and precise and work hard to get more. I have to concentrate on the important ones, otherwise everything will be lost. Damn, after careful consideration, I finally left two stations to work on. Although the other stations were not bad, I still reluctantly gave up.
Finally, I wish all individual webmasters who are struggling on the front line to work hard and persevere to build the website that they think has the most hope. Don't distract your energy, and know that we are struggling alone!
