The Valorant Competitive Mode of Valorant Contract is the ranking of this game. So what are the rules for the ranking of this game? Please see the ranking rules of the Valorant Contract Competitive Mode below. Interested players can take a look at the following content. Hope it's useful to everyone.
Of course. We cannot allow unprepared rookie agents to join the battle at will. Starting from Act 4, Chapter 1, your account level must reach 20 to participate in competitive mode. If you have not yet reached account level 20 but have played competitive matches before Act 4, you can still continue playing competitive mode.
please note
Before the fourth act, in order to obtain tickets for the competitive mode, you must first win 10 normal battles to be eligible. This rule has now been removed and the only way to unlock Competitive Mode is to reach the account level listed above.
What is the difference between ranking and chapter ranking?
As an agent, you know that staying ahead of the competition is a matter of life and death, so we've designed a few different ways to measure your skills.
First is ranking
If you've been playing Valorant for a while, this shouldn't seem too unfamiliar to you. Ranking can accurately evaluate your skill level and ranking in the battle. In addition to your teammates seeing these rankings, they will also be displayed on the page menu and score statistics screen.
The rankings are divided into: iron medal, bronze medal, silver medal, gold medal, platinum, diamond, extraordinary saint, myth, and radiant fighting spirit. Except for the Radiant War Spirit, each rank is divided into three intervals. The higher the number, the higher the class. In addition, your rankings will gradually accumulate into chapter rankings.
As the name suggests, your Chapter Ranking measures your performance in Ranking within the same Chapter! Chapter Ranking is determined by your highest Ranked wins, which we like to call player strength.
What is competitive rating?
Rank Rating (RR for short) can specifically show your score climbing process, and there are different mechanisms for ranking from iron to extraordinary and to myth and above.
If I leave the ranking alone and ignore it, will it cause the ranking to drop?
The short answer is: No! Don't worry, ranking is unbreakable.
If we go into more detail, although players of Myth and Radiant Souls will not lose rank, they may lag behind in the rankings. Your ranking will not change, but your position on the leaderboard may.
Can I play competitive mode with friends?
Yes! And even if there is a gap in skill proficiency between you and your friends (but not too far apart, of course), you can still queue up together. If you are playing Duo or Trio, you can only play competitive mode with friends within a certain tier range.
Details are as follows:
Team restrictions
If you are a team of 2 or 3 people, you can form a team according to the following ranking gap rules:
Rank 5 does not have any ranking restrictions in the competitive mode, so there is no need to pay attention to the above rules. Having said that, if the rank difference between the players in the team exceeds the general team limit, the increase or decrease in RR obtained by players from Iron Medal to Transcendent Saint in the fifth row will be reduced (for example, if all the players in the five rows are silver and gold medals player, the RR increase and decrease will remain unchanged. If there are silver medal, gold medal and extraordinary saint players in the five-row team, the RR increase and decrease after the battle will be reduced).
Is there a limit to the number of people in a team?
Teams with less than 3 people must meet the above ranking gap conditions. Quad queue is not allowed because the remaining single queue players in the team often have a bad playing experience due to this.
Players ranked above Myth 1 can play in single, double or five rows.
What if I'm in row five?
As mentioned above, there are no rank restrictions for the five tiers in the competitive mode, which means that no matter what your strength is, you can play with 4 friends. As long as 5 people line up together, it won't be a problem even if 3 iron players and 2 extraordinary saint players are on the same team.
Having said that, taking into account the ranking differences of players in the five-row team, the rules for increasing and decreasing RR will also be adjusted.
In the case where everyone in the five-row team is Transcendent Saint 3 or below, if a player's card level exceeds the normal team limit, the RR increase or decrease will be reduced by 25%.
If more than one player in the five-row team is Myth 1 to Myth 3, the RR increase or decrease of the team will be directly reduced by 25%.
If more than one player in the five-row team is a radiant spirit, the team's RR increase or decrease will be directly reduced by 75%. If you play with players whose card level is lower than Radiant Soul, the increase or decrease in RR will be directly reduced by 90%.
please note
Since a team of 5 people will only queue to the other five queues, the queue time may be longer.
