The day before yesterday, I hosted the IT Tea House’s monthly theme party. This event was a small-scale open party. The location was chosen at the Tianfu Software Studio in the High-tech Zone. A total of 4 projects participated. Nearly 4 people exchanged views starting at 1 p.m. For several hours, I put forward some suggestions and opinions based on my personal experience based on the positioning and development goals of each of their projects, hoping to be of some help to them. The specific sharing content has been shared previously. Let me express my personal views through the experiences of these entrepreneurs.
1. Starting a business requires enough courage, so every IT entrepreneur deserves admiration. At the same time, you should go deeper into the project you are starting a business. A large number of entrepreneurs that I have come into contact with through IT Teahouse have the same problem. They only focus on the market and underestimate the analysis of their own advantages. Most entrepreneurs first focus on a market and feel there are opportunities, and then study this field. Here Jialun recommends analyzing its own characteristics and resource advantages first, and then looking for projects that match itself. I have heard entrepreneurs say more than once that I know nothing about the industry I am currently starting a business in, but I firmly believe that this field will have great future;
2. Profit model positioning should have been mentioned more than once. One or two profit points in the early stage of starting a business are enough if you continue to do it seriously. What you must avoid is to come up with 8 major profit models before highlighting the scalability of the project, which will lead to scattered entrepreneurship. There is not much human, financial and material resources in the early stage;
3. You should consider all kinds of sharing in the early stages of starting a business, and don’t deceive yourself with words like “shouldn’t”. There will be many risks in the entrepreneurial process, and it is indeed difficult to predict, but having an awareness of risks in the early stage will enable you to have a normal mentality to face it in the most difficult period.
4. Talent strategy. In the early stage of starting a business, it is difficult to recruit outstanding talents in a certain field because it cannot provide generous salary packages. Therefore, do not expect to make up for the current problems faced by the company through recruitment. It is often heard that entrepreneurs complain that it is difficult to find talents. For a newly established small company, high-end talents with rich experience will certainly not be considered. The direct solution is to learn and improve yourself, or find a business partner, and this partner is not recruited through shareholding, but a real corporate partner. This is a matter of mentality. Many entrepreneurs keep saying that Recruiting in the form of stock options, Danxin still treats the other person as an employee.
I am speaking from my own thoughts. Some of them may be clichés. I hope I will not make similar mistakes in the future. (Text/Jialun-IT Teahouse)
