Armored Core 6 will be launched on August 25. Many friends are curious whether this game will lock 60 frames and whether there is a chance to break through to 120 frames. In this issue, the editor will take you to see whether Armored Core 6 supports 120 frames. Hope this helps those who like this game.
FS no longer locks 60 frames, Armored Core 6 supports 120 frames for the first time
The Armored Core 6 media trial has been launched, bringing more in-game news. It is understood that Armored Core 6 PC settings are quite standard, including basic options such as borderless window mode, switchable V-Sync, and a series of quality settings. But unlike FromSoftware's previous PC games, which were locked at 60 frames per second, Armored Core 6 offers options for 30, 60, 90 and 120 frames per second.
Under the detailed quality settings menu, there are some welcome options, including the ability to disable motion blur. There's a disappointing lack of detail in each setting - the Lighting Quality column says the quality of the configured light effects, but there's no indication of how much of an impact they'll have on performance. Most settings have low/medium/high options, and some add a maximum value. Antialiasing is only low, high and off.
The game also supports ray tracing, but it's a strange and neat feature because it only works when the player is designing armor in the garage.
120FPS is a welcome change, as the game is so much faster than Dark Souls or Elden's Circle that players need an extra 60 frames to dodge every incoming missile.
