KPL is the highest-level professional competitive event of Honor of Kings. It consists of two seasons: spring season and autumn season. Each season is divided into regular season and playoffs (the last game of the playoffs is the finals).

Below we briefly introduce the promotion rules for the 2022 KPL Spring Split.
Let’s talk about the regular season first. There are a total of 18 participating teams. They are divided into 3 groups according to their rankings, namely Group S with 1 to 6 players, Group A with 7 to 12 players, and Group C with 13 to 18 players.

The regular season schedule consists of three rounds of intra-group circulation. After each round, the participating teams will be divided into groups according to the rules, and then the second round will be played until 10 teams are determined to advance to the playoffs after the three rounds.
1. After the first round of round robin within the group, the 5th and 6th place players in Group S will be demoted to Group A, the 1st and 2nd place players in Group A will be promoted to Group S, the 5th and 6th place players in Group A will be demoted to Group B, and the 1st and 2nd place players in Group B will be promoted to Group B. Group A.
2. After the second round of intra-group round robin, four slot games will be held based on the ranking of each team. They are the 5th in Group S versus the 2nd in Group A, the 6th in Group S versus the 1st in Group A, the 5th in Group A versus the 2nd in Group B, and the 6th in Group A versus the 1st in Group B. The winner of the slot match between Group S and Group A enters Group S, and the loser goes into Group A; the winner of the slot match between Group A and Group B goes into Group A, and the loser goes into Group B. After all the games, all Group B teams were eliminated, leaving only 12 teams in Group S and Group A.
Rules for advancing to the second round of the regular season
3. After three rounds of round-robin competition, the last two teams in Group A will be eliminated, and the other ten teams will advance to the playoffs. At the same time, the top four participating teams in Group S will be defined as the winner group, and the other 6 teams will be the loser group to participate in the season. Post-game competition.
Now let’s talk about the playoffs. The playoffs adopt a double-elimination tournament, and each game adopts a best-of-seven game system (BO7, global BP, including peak showdown).
Playoff promotion rules
First round: Loser group A1vsA4, A2vsA3, the winner advances and the loser is eliminated. We label the two winning teams #1, #2;
Second round: Loser group #1vsS5 (fifth place in Group S), #2vsS6 (sixth place in Group S), the winner will still advance and the loser will be eliminated. We label the winning teams #5, #6;
The third round: winner group S1vsS4, S2vsS3. The winner will advance to the next round of the winner's bracket finals, while the loser will advance to the loser's bracket to compete with #5 and #6. We mark the match results of S1 and S4 as #3, and the results of S2 and S3 as #4. Specifically, #3 loser vs. #5 in the second round, #4 loser vs. #6 in the second round. The winner of the two games will advance, and the loser will be eliminated. We mark the two winning teams as #7, # 8;
The fourth round: winner group #3 winner vs #4 winner, we mark the result of the winner group match as #9, loser group #7vs#8, mark the result of the loser group match as #9 #10;
Round 5: #9 winner waits for the finals and does not participate; #9 loser vs #10 winner, determines the last place in the loser group to participate in the finals, we mark it as #11;
The sixth round: This is the last game we are talking about. The #9 winner vs. the #11 winner will start the finals, a BO7 game, and finally decide who will win the Silver Dragon.
