Turn on the remote access function of sql server 2005

By default, the remote access function of Sqlserver2005 is turned off. You can turn it on by following the steps below.
Start--->Programs--->Microsoft SQLServer2005--->Configuration Tools--->SQL Server Surface Area Configuration:

Pulls up SQL Server2005 Surface Area Configuration--->Click on Surface Area Configuration For Services and Connections:

Pulls up Surface Area Configuration for Service and Connections Window--->Highlight Remote Connections--->Select Local and Remote Connections:

Restart service to make it take effect:
