The gambler's destiny side mission will be triggered after completing the main mission [Thousand Miles Chase, No Gate to Hell] and talking to Shopkeeper Jin. Players can trigger three endings by choosing different options.
Ending one:
Select [Help repay debt], spend 100 taels to save Mo Da, go to Zhengtong Bank (35, 10) with him to redeem the jade pendant, and return to his home (31, 21) to meet his wife. After a while, you will receive a reply from Mo Da, who is determined to start a new life, and finally receive a reward of 120 taels.
Ending two:
Select [Sit back and watch], go to (23, 15) to trigger the dialogue, Mo Da is thrown into the water by a sack and fed, go to Zhengtong Bank to redeem the jade pendant for free. (31, 21) Trigger the dialogue and you can choose to tell the truth or lie to her. You can choose to keep it for yourself or keep it. If you keep it for yourself, you can get 10 taels. The follow-up plot will be triggered at (31, 21). The family has been destroyed, and the wife has committed suicide by drowning in the river.
Ending three:
After choosing [take away] and fight directly, Mo Da told his wife that he was afraid of being retaliated and fled to Luoyang. Later, a follow-up event was triggered in Hangzhou (31,21). Mo Da went gambling again and was beaten to death. His wife also committed suicide, and the family was ruined.
