[Sand Trap Making Guide]
1. Necessary materials
Sand, shulker shells, and spider webs, Xiaohu here does not specify the quantities of these materials. You can decide how much materials to prepare according to how big a sand trap you want to make.
2. Production methods and specific steps
1. To make a sand trap, we need to dig a pit, which is 2 blocks deep. The length and width of the pit are not absolute. You can decide the specific length and width according to your own needs;
2. First place a layer of shulker shells at the bottom of the pit;
3. Then place a spider web on top of the shulker;
4. Finally, we just place the sand. Friends, please note that the sand needs to fall from above and overlap with the spider web. Friends, please do not place it directly!
5. Basically, wait patiently for a while, and our sand trap will be ready!
1. Survival mode
In this mode, players must collect resources to build, synthesize, and earn experience points to survive. The player has health, hunger and armor bars, an inventory and an oxygen tank when underwater.
2. Creative mode
In this mode, players have unlimited use of almost all blocks and items and can destroy them instantly. The player is invincible (except when falling into the void (old version) or using the /kill command), does not display health, hunger, armor bars and oxygen gauges, and can fly. Players can use some items that are not available in survival mode, such as spawn eggs.
3. Adventure mode
Players can operate some items such as levers and buttons, and interact with some creatures. But players cannot break or place blocks. This mode is very suitable for adventure maps. Although this mode has been released, it is still in the early stages of development and has few features. The current colorful update makes it impossible to interact with most blocks in Adventure Mode by default. However, most of the updates to commands and NBT tags in the colorful update make the creation of adventure maps more convenient.
4. Extreme mode
This mode is mostly the same as Survival mode, but the game is locked to difficulty and the player only has one life, and upon death the world is deleted. After version 1.9, it will enter spectator mode.
Technically speaking, Extreme Mode is more of a game modification than a standalone new mode. However, players can only play the Extreme Survival mode unless they cheat. To play the extreme creative mode, players must use tools to modify the world archive. However, there is almost no difference between the extreme creative mode and the ordinary creative mode, because the only two ways to die in the creative mode are to use game commands and fall into the void. In Hardcore servers, if a player dies, he will be banned from the server. If everyone in the server dies, the server world will be deleted.
5. Spectator mode
Spectator mode was added in 1.8. While you are in spectator mode, you can move through blocks and enter the perspective of creatures by left-clicking on them, but you are invisible to all creatures except other players in spectator mode. You can't interact with any blocks, entities, or inventory items, and when you're in third-person mode, you look like a floating transparent head. Unlike flying in creative mode, you can adjust your flying speed using the scroll wheel.
