OVCS (formerly GGMeeting Video Conferencing System) is a video conferencing system source code developed with .net+mssql.
Generally speaking, the main core functions of video conferencing are: multi-person voice, multi-person video, public electronic whiteboard, and conference room management. In this article, we will introduce the main functions of the video conferencing system and its implementation principles. We will introduce the detailed implementation details of each function later.
Deployment instructions:
(1) Deploy GGMeeting.Server to the server and run it.
(2) Modify the ServerIP value in the Client configuration file GGMeeting.exe.config.
(3) Run the first Client instance and enter the test room with a random account.
(4) Continue to run the Client on another machine, enter the test room with a random account, and everyone can conduct video conferences in the test room.
Note: Voice and video data are collected and played in real time. Therefore, during testing, the bandwidth requirement of the server is preferably exclusive bandwidth. Shared bandwidth generally cannot meet the requirements of real-time voice and video.
