The tool for migrating data from the Old Y article system to the Tianren system will migrate the columns (categories), articles, messages, comments, friendly links, and member data of the Old Y article system to the Tianren article management system, keeping all IDs unchanged.
How to operate
Migration operation method
1. Place the database of the old program and old Y in the same folder as this tool.
2. Double-click to open the "Run Website" software. The migration page will automatically pop up later or run the migration page in IIS.
3. Paste the full name of the old Y database including the suffix into the text box on the migration page.
4. Click the Migrate Now button. The generation process may take from 1 minute to more than ten minutes. Do not close the window during this period.
5. After the prompt migration is completed (in rare cases, if the page stops or an error is reported, please wait 10 minutes before the migration can still be successful, and don't care about the error message), copy the new55tr.asa or 55tr.asa database to your website database path. Generally it is the db folder, and then rename new55tr.asa or 55tr.asa to the name of the existing database in your Tianren article management system
6. Use the program in the compressed package (if there are multiple compressed packages, please select one, each one is compatible with the migrated database) as the program for the new website. Please be sure to use the program in the compressed package. If you want other templates, please Install in the background instead of downloading from the Internet to connect to the database, as it is easy to make mistakes.
7. Copy the upfiles and images folders in the old program to the root directory of the new website, and copy other files and folders you added (non-Old Y's own files and folders) to the same path as the old program.
8. Enter the website backend--website management--update cache, enter the backend--site settings--dynamic, static, pseudo-static--select the form of the original old program; enter the backend--site settings--customize static Page storage main path - fill in article; if set to dynamic version, the entire site needs to be generated once statically. The migration is now complete. Just migrate once. Do not migrate repeatedly, otherwise the article and column structure will be wrong.
9. If you want to perform incremental migration and add the data of old Y to the currently used Tianren article management system, and the data of Tianren article management system coexists with the data of old Y, please use seamless migration.
Things to note
1. After migrating to the Tianren article management system, please test that the data is complete and unified before officially going online.
2. After the member data is migrated, use the member’s email account (the characters before @, if there are less than 5 digits, add the number 0 in front, for example, [email protected], then 000pp is the password, and for example, petty@163, then petty is the password, and then For example, [email protected], then pettytty is the password). As the password, you need to use the original member’s login account and the characters before email@ as the password. If there are less than 5 digits, add 0 before logging in. This can fully integrate the membership function into In the Tianren article management system.
3. After the migration is completed, use the administrator whose username and password are both admin to log in to the backend.
