The Weidun pan-domain name resolver is an ISAPI filter of IIS, which can enable a single IP to bundle and resolve multiple pan-domain names.
At the same time, unlimited custom second-level domain names can also be easily resolved. It is a good helper for the webmaster.
Different from the resolution of IIS itself, the Weidun pan-domain name resolver can resolve different pan-domain names to their respective directories.
This enables different domain names to truly access websites in different root directories.
[How to use]
1. Open the configuration tool VwPanDomainCfg.exe. If pan-domain name resolution is not configured on IIS, please configure it on IIS first.
Everyone should know how to configure a generic domain name on IIS. The simple method is: when adding a site, just leave the domain name blank.
2. In the VwPanDomainCfg.exe configuration tool, the first configuration area is "Pan domain name information on IIS".
If the IP address is not configured for the pan-domain name on IIS, configure it here. Double-click the selected row to configure.
3. In the VwPanDomainCfg.exe configuration tool, the second configuration area is "Pan domain name resolver configuration".
First, to load the filter, please click the "Install" button next to it to install the filter, and wait until the filter prompts "IIS filter has been loaded".
Secondly, select "Enable multi-wide domain name resolution", and then click the "Configure" button below to configure.
4. Click the "Save" button to save the configuration and restart IIS.
