Introduction to CodePaste.net:
Inserting code into social networking web pages and IM messaging windows is difficult because code format information is often lost or the number of characters is limited, among other issues.
CodePaste.NET now allows anyone to paste a code snippet in a text box with just a click of the paste button.
The code snippet in the text box will receive a URL information that can be copied from the browser address bar, and then published, so that everyone can see the code snippet, and logged-in users can comment or edit it.
Using this method, code snippets can also be sent back and forth on IM such as QQ and MSN.
The website also supports syntax highlighting in C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, XML, CSS, SQL, T-SQL, and FoxPro. The line-of-code display can be turned on or off manually, and code can be copied to the clipboard with just one click.
Code snippets can be restored to JSON, XML form by using ?format=json (or xml) after a URL like http://codepaste.net/pouviy?format=xml. RSS and ATOM support has also been added to restore the code List of fragments.
