There are many ways to cut out images. This cutout method uses a channel mixer to adjust the channels. Because it involves channels, it is a bit difficult for newcomers. I will tell you about channels when I have time.
Let’s take a look at the original image:
Create an invert adjustment layer, as shown below:
The Invert command converts the brightness value of each pixel in the image to its opposite value in 256 levels of color, creating a negative effect. From the inversion effect, we can see that the sky and the raw materials show a relatively consistent tone, the branches of the trees appear white, and the tones of the branches and the background have been initially separated, which creates conditions for our next operation. .
Create a new Channel Mixer adjustment layer and check Monochrome. Reduce the red in the channel and increase the green and blue in the output channel to further separate the tones of the sky and woods.
Add a Levels adjustment layer to enhance the difference in tones, making dark colors in the image black and light colors white.
Press ALT+CTRL+~ to load the highlight selection and select the woods. Double-click the background layer to unlock it and click the Add Layer Mask button. Then hide all adjustment layers. Get the following effect.
Just change the background~~~~~~
