There are many tutorials for drawing flowers, but this one is in a realistic style. The overall effect is very close to the real thing. Therefore, it is a little more difficult to make, especially the wrinkles on the petals, which need to be painted carefully.

1. Create a new 800 * 600 pixel file, fill the background with white, create a new layer and name it "Flower Outline", use a pen to outline the path of the flower, and convert it to a selection as shown below.

2. Fill the selection with color: #AC619C. After canceling the selection, the effect is as shown below.

3. Use the pen tool to select the lower part of the flower, as shown below, press Ctrl + J and copy it to a new layer and name it "Flower Outline 1".

4. Create a new layer above the "Flower Outline" layer, use the Elliptical Marquee Tool to pull out the elliptical selection shown in Figure 4, press Ctrl + Alt + D to feather 35 pixels, then select the Gradient Tool, and set the color as shown in Figure 5 , pull out the radial gradient shown in Figure 6.

5. Bring up the "Flower Outline" selection, create a new layer, set the foreground color to: #743260, select the brush tool, set the brush opacity to: 5%, and then paint the edge with a dark tone, the effect is as shown below.

6. Keep the foreground color unchanged, create a new layer, use a pen to outline the selection shown in Figure 8, and use a brush to color the edges. The effect is as shown in Figure 9. The parts beyond the outline need to be deleted.
