Dai Renguang: Hello everyone, I am very happy to come to the Thousands of Webmasters Lecture to share some personal experience on Taobao customer operations. Taobao is a kind of CPS advertisement. I believe everyone has been exposed to CPS before, such as Zhuozhi, Dangdang, and other B2C websites. In the past, I believe that the attitude of webmasters towards CPS was definitely not good, because the effect of hanging excellent ads and dangdang ads was really not obvious. Instead, they hung Google ads, which only cost a few cents and a few dollars every day.
But my previous financial website didn’t have a lot of traffic, and even 500 IPs a day was very difficult, but the quality of the traffic was pretty good. It mainly focused on financial studies, serialized some financial books, and some financial knowledge sharing articles. Although the traffic was not large, it was My promotions are very targeted. The users of the website are basically junior enthusiasts of financial learning. Later, I started to work in the Excellence Alliance and distributed the exquisite advertising images of Excellence on my financial website. After a long time, there was no effect at all. First of all, I must have felt frustrated. I thought, with such a good location, users must have clicked a lot. , why not buy it. Later, I removed all ads and replaced them with Google ads, and my income from Google increased immediately. Later, I thought I should continue to build Joyo. How to do it? This time I adopted the method of organizing a "Financial Bookstore", collecting some best-selling financial books from Joyo.com, and presenting them in the form of a bookstore as the top column of the website. , and then used the advertising space on the website to promote this financial bookstore, and later received a commission of 200-300 yuan a month from Joyo in advertising fees. This financial website was the first website I built when I was a sophomore in college. It is no longer there. Why do I give this example? I want to explain that doing CPS advertising is not like doing CPC advertising. Use attractive positions. Just hang it up. But it takes a lot of thinking.
From this case, I concluded that the following points need to be considered when doing CPS: 1) Characteristics of merchant websites-for example, Joyo.com is a B2C e-commerce website with book features, which means that user awareness is very high. Through the above personal experience of doing CPS, I will start our topic today, how to make a good Taobao website, then we will also analyze it according to this method: 1) The characteristics of merchants-Taobao's characteristic products are "Clothes, bags, shoes, digital phones, makeup and care products", and has a large number of users. It is the largest shopping website in Asia. Almost all online shoppers have accounts and no cognitive impairment. If you use Taobao to promote books , is not a wiser choice. 2) Characteristics of my website - According to the product situation, I also know that Taobao is more suitable for some women-related websites, or some product-related websites that are compatible with Taobao for promotion.
