I believe that many friends will use wireless networks on various occasions. If you have forgotten the password for wireless network connection and need to reinstall the system or inform your colleagues, it will be quite troublesome. What is more distressing is that Windows Xp does not provide the ability to check the wireless network connection password. The function of network connection passwords often has to use third-party software to see these passwords.
In fact, if you are using the Windows 7 operating system, you can easily view the clear text password of the wireless network. The operation can be said to be quite simple:
Step 1: Click the network icon in the system tray area, select the wireless network connection whose password you want to view from the shortcut menu, right-click and select Connect. You may wait a moment here.
Step2: Click the network icon in the system tray area, find the currently connected wireless network connection from the shortcut menu, right-click and select Properties. If you need to select another wireless network connection, enter the Network and Sharing Center window, select Manage Wireless Networks from the navigation pane on the left, right-click the corresponding wireless network connection here, and select Properties from the shortcut menu.
Step3: The properties dialog box of the wireless network will open and switch to the Security tab. Under the default settings, the network security key here will only display small dots one by one. Check the Show characters check box and we can see Now that we have the clear text password, is it very simple?
Of course, for those wireless networks that do not have encryption enabled, there is no need to use the above method to view the password. However, safety protection work still needs to be done well.
