After chatting with a webmaster on QQ last night, I got some more ideas, so today I came to chinaz to try to share with novice webmasters some of my personal experience in building a website and the operation of the website in the past three months. I hope it can bring some help to novice webmasters!
Last night, I wanted to find a website of the same type as mine to exchange links, but I couldn’t reach an agreement with the webmaster, so I refused. The reason why he refused to exchange links with me was because the CMS used by my website was new. Yun's system did not leave a very good impression on him, because his website uses the DownPlus system, which is chargeable. He told me that the layout of a website will affect the user experience. The user experience is directly related to whether the user will visit his website again next time. This is true. I also admit it. I also personally like the layout and appearance of his website better than my own. However, this makes me want to remind novice webmasters that as long as the layout of our website is clean and the color tone is OK, it will at least make our users feel like continuing to browse the website. As for which CMS to choose, I The problem is not big if you think about it. For an old CMS to be able to gain a foothold in the market, it must have functions that satisfy the user experience. It is not easy for a novice webmaster to use a CMS system that charges 1,100 RMB a year, because the novice webmaster's website has not yet brought economic benefits to him! Therefore, novices should not spend too much time on the website template in the early stages of building a website. What we want is website traffic. Only with traffic can it bring us economic benefits!
Let’s talk about some of my experiences and habits as a novice webmaster in the past 3 months of building a website!
It is said that making external links to a website is the best way to build a website. This is true at all. Although I have posted only a handful of external links in the past three months, the dozens of external links have made me realize the importance of external links. With the effect, below I list a change in the Baidu snapshot of my website:
Update June 25: Home page, snapshot from June 20
Update July 3: Home page, snapshot from June 27
Update July 8: Home page, snapshot from July 2
Update in the early morning of July 15: Home page, snapshot on July 9; Update at noon: Home page, snapshot on July 14
Updated July 16: Home page, snapshot from July 15
Updated July 17: Home page, snapshot from July 16
Updated July 19: Home page, snapshot from July 18
Updated July 20: Home page, snapshot from July 19
On July 22, the home page was blocked in the early morning and restored at noon.
Updated July 23: Home page, snapshot from July 22
Baidu snapshots were updated once more than a week at the beginning, and now they update snapshots of my website almost every other day. I believe these are the effects of external links. When your external links are included by Baidu, Baidu Spider It will crawl to your website along your external link and collect the data on your website. Only in this way can the content on our website be included by Baidu! Among them, the title and description of the website were changed on July 10th. The homepage was blocked when it was updated in the early morning of July 22nd. Fortunately, it was restored at noon that day and the title of the website was modified. Search engines will take corresponding penalties, so be careful!
My habit of posting external links is that I register an email specifically for registering some forum IDs. When registering on any forum, I always use the same ID to register, which makes it easier for me to remember and convenient. Repurpose these used resources yourself later. Then, I will create two folders in the browser's favorites, one is "External links that have been published successfully" and the other is "External links that have not been published successfully". Because everyone knows that after many forums are registered, the new ID will be restricted for how long before they can post. When this happens, I will save this forum to the folder "External links that have not been successfully posted", etc. After the posting time limit passed the next day, I logged into the forum again and posted a post with the URL of my website. This way, if I build a new website in the future, maybe these resources of mine can be put to use again!
Let me tell you about soft articles again. After I published an article last time called "Revealing the Behind the Scenes of the Average Daily Access IP from 57 to IP2272 Overnight", I received many comments from webmasters, saying that it took me several minutes to read it. I wrote an article with no content. In fact, the people who commented on my article were all webmasters with some experience. They must have thought that it was of no use to them! Of course, as a novice webmaster, my IP has doubled several times overnight. Shouldn’t I pay attention to it and analyze the reasons? A few days after publishing this article, I searched the title of my article on Baidu and found that it had been collected by several webmaster sites. In this way, if I left the address of my website at the end of the article, this article would be collected. The websites of my articles are taken away together, which inadvertently adds external links to their own websites. Of course, some of them do not leave the source links of my articles, which is a very abominable behavior.
Therefore, novice webmasters, don’t say that you are afraid of writing articles because you have insufficient experience in building a website. As long as you carefully record every bit of your website building process and analyze these bits and pieces, they will become the materials for publishing your own articles in the future. , go to the website to share some of your experiences with other netizens and webmasters. Don’t worry because you are afraid that your article will be commented on by others! To promote our own website, external links are the most critical, and soft articles are powerful!
Finally, I hope that all novice webmasters can identify their goals and stick to it as always. Even if we are greeted by clear darkness every day, I believe we will see the sunrise that day! ! !
