According to my observation and understanding, most of the individual webmasters who choose to start a website business are young people who have just graduated or are still on campus. I don’t have my own business yet, but I want to have my own business, or I chose to start a website out of hobbies.
Most individual webmasters have limited skills, experience, and energy, and competition on the Internet is fierce now. If you choose to start a website, you are destined to have a long period of obscurity. This is the state of most webmasters. If you are a student in school, it is very easy to use your spare time to build a website, update articles, etc. Gradually accumulate, as a student, you are not very dependent on your own income, because your family will give you money to spend, and the money earned from the website can be used as pocket money, or even without making money, it is also good out of interest. But if you have left campus and it is time to start your own business, and you choose to start a website business, you must adjust its position in life. Many webmasters became monks halfway and have never learned the language of a website before. They have to start from scratch, which is doomed to lack of technical experience. It takes a longer process from the beginning to the success of the website.
My idea is that if you have entered the society and want to make money to support yourself, you must first have a stable job, earn enough money to support yourself, and build a website after work. This has several advantages:
1. Avoid being impatient when building a website. With your own source of income, even if the website does not make money, it will not cause much emotional fluctuations in you. Otherwise, if you make a living by pointing to the website, you will be doomed to beg for food for a long time.
2. Easier to persevere. You won’t be irritated because there is no progress on the website for a while. Because it’s your side hustle.
3. Enrich your life. Do something in your spare time, find something meaningful to do, and work hard for your own career. Make life more fulfilling.
Regarding building a website, two things are most important. One is the originality of the website content, and the other is the number of external links to the website. If you want your website to be successful, these two points are core. Don't think too much. Mainly do these two things.
Originality is directly related to the inclusion and weight of the website. First of all, the content is legal, and the updated articles are fresh articles that are not available on the Internet.
The number of external links does not only refer to friendly links. Friendly links require quality. The quality of the website you exchange links with must be up to standard. It will not only increase the weight of the website, but also avoid the consecutive sittings caused by K stations. If the quality of the other party's website is poor, the updates are not timely, the content is almost collected and copied from garbage sites, or the other party's friendly links are messy, such a site cannot exchange links, and maybe one day the other party's site will be K-ed by you. Also implicated.
Write soft articles at the right time, maintain several blogs, and maintain several spaces. You can publish the soft articles you write to various sites at the same time, and add your links. If your article is reprinted, it will add a lot of external links. At the same time, links to blogs and spaces from high-weight websites, such as Sina, Baidu Space, etc., will greatly increase the weight of your website.
