In forums, many webmaster friends often ask questions: New sites are not updated in Baidu snapshots, new sites are not included in Baidu, new sites are not included in Baidu rankings, new sites are included in Baidu and do not receive traffic, etc.
The school holidays will start around June, and I wanted to test how long Baidu’s sandbox period for new sites is. I often see articles in forums or some places, and the traffic exceeds 2,000 IPs in a month. Some websites have all the keywords in a month. To be number one on Baidu is somewhat untrustworthy in my opinion. Practice is the only criterion for empirical truth.
I registered two .com and one .net domain name around June 20, both of which are new!
The experimental results are as follows:
1. Baidu’s inspection period for a new site is about three and a half months. In about 80 days, a large number of main keywords have been added to my site A. The main keywords have reached the homepage, but they are unstable. Three more (a total of four) have dropped, and it has taken 102 days. Everything has been restored, the internal page traffic has increased from about 50ip to more than 300ip, and now the traffic is stable at more than 1000ip. Station B’s main keywords reached the home page from about 90 days ago, and it was relatively stable with only one main keyword falling to the third page. It recovered around 100 days, and the internal page traffic began to increase around 108 days, increasing from about 20ip to about 100ip, and the weight began to increase. , snapshots are basically updated every day. Station C has three main keywords (Baidu homepage) every day around 103 days, and Baidu internal page traffic increases from around 30 to around 150 ip around 115 days. To summarize, Baidu’s sandbox period for new sites is 115 days.
2. The traffic source of the new website. The snapshots of the three websites in about 45 days are basically snapshots of the next day (the article is basically original). What I do every day is to update external links (blog comments and forum signatures) and update original articles. The snapshot is updated very quickly, but there is almost no ranking for keywords. The three websites have almost no internal page traffic from Baidu, and very little traffic from the main keyword rankings (within 3 months, almost all the traffic comes from GooGLE) , Google's main keyword ranking is not as good as Baidu, but the content page ranking and content page weight are very high, and the traffic mainly comes from the content page. Basically, after two months, Baidu traffic comes from the main keywords and Google traffic comes from the content page.
3. The problem of main keywords. From the second to the third month, the main keywords are unstable and the rankings drop. Sometimes one of my main keywords directly drops to the rank of 1,000. During this period, the website has no weight. Please keep it updated. In about two weeks, sometimes a week, almost all the main keywords are restored.
4. If the search results do not show the homepage of the website, it will basically be restored in about three days. If the homepage of the website is not in the search results, please pay attention to the preferred domain issue, that is, only one promotion address and external link address will be promoted. For example, multiple addresses can access the homepage of my website, and I use only one for external links such as forum signatures, internal link optimization within the site, blog comments, etc., so that all the weight is concentrated on one address. .
5. Website inclusion issues. Baidu’s inclusion time for new sites is about two weeks, which can be as fast as three days and as slow as about 12. The content page is updated every week for about two months before it is included. It may happen in about 70 days. It will be posted in the morning. , collect in the afternoon, send in the afternoon, and collect in the evening. It is also possible that if you post an article, Baidu will include it immediately, but the included articles will basically not be there the next day. It takes about 85 days to basically post on the first day and collect on the second day. It stays for about 20 days and the content page has no ranking. Around 110 days, if the website is an original article, it will basically be published in the morning and collected in the afternoon. The content page will rank well. As long as it is not a highly competitive keyword, it will be basically the homepage. About 130 days, the day after the snapshot, the website collects articles within 4 hours. There is little competition for keywords on the content page, and the search title ranks first (regardless of whether it is original or pseudo-original).
6. Snapshot problem. The first two months were basically snapshots every other week, about 65-95 days. The snapshots are not very stable. Sometimes the weekly snapshots are not updated, sometimes the snapshots are rolled back, and sometimes "pseudo snapshots" occur.
In conclusion, persevere until you succeed. I'm a god, if you surpass the first three months, Baidu traffic will rush to you like crazy. Remember to persevere until you succeed.
