Hello everyone, my name is Xu Ziyu. I have been exposed to a lot of SEO training recently, and the most popular one is the forum belonging to Langyu SEO and the training he provides. I don’t know how many students he has accepted in this incident, but he must have made a lot of money. Here I want to tell you some of my views on SEO training, mainly from a practical perspective on what kind of training is the best.
1. Practice is the best teacher!
For SEO, we must first learn enough theoretical knowledge and then practice it. In fact, I mentioned this point in a previous article "SEO learning should first be theoretical and then practical, and never forget deep-level improvement." If you are interested, you can read the previous article. What I want to tell you here is: Practical practice is the best teacher for us to learn SEO. Many webmasters have learned a certain amount of SEO theoretical knowledge but don’t know how to apply it. This is like education in China. We have studied hard for more than ten or twenty years, but we don’t know the role of what we learned. Due to national conditions, Don’t blame everyone. But this cannot be the case when doing SEO. We need to actively learn instead of passively. The best way to take the initiative is to take action. What is SEO practice? The most basic ones are: article updating, internal link building, external link building, and keyword selection. The more in-depth ones include: grasping the density of keywords, grasping the high weight of external links, grasping internal interconnections, grasping station group operations, and trying various simple methods. Constantly enrich and improve ourselves in these basic and in-depth practical combats, and regard practical combat as our best teacher, so that we can improve quickly.
2. SEO improvement requires a teacher!
For our individual webmasters who want to improve quickly in SEO, we need theoretical knowledge as a foundation and practical experience to sharpen ourselves, but sometimes we need a mentor to guide us in the direction of progress. This is my consistent view. Many people I think I wrote "Master" wrongly. In fact, "Master" does not necessarily have to be a "famous teacher." A famous teacher is like Mr. Wu Wei from seowhy. He is famous and has many practical SEO skills, but a master can be anyone. As long as a small webmaster has better practical experience than you, he can be your teacher. As the saying goes, "When three people are walking together, I must be my teacher."
As I have introduced to you before, I am still very happy to communicate with my webmaster friends, and I am very happy to answer the questions of some novice webmasters, because this not only helps them, but also helps me sort out some things that I usually don’t pay attention to. When you encounter problems, you can better grasp some details, and you can better understand some of the small mistakes and problems that we easily make, and urge yourself to improve. Sometimes you will come up with some good ideas when you are inspired. method, or write one or two articles based on the questions asked by everyone. So these webmasters who ask me questions are my masters.
3. Practical training is the best training!
With more and more people pouring into the SEO industry, some novices will gradually become interested in the SEO training provided by some so-called masters after learning about some successful cases around them or learning about the examples of some successful people in the industry. . I still say the same thing here: Practical training is the best training. Just like Langyu SEO, which was very popular some time ago, its slogan is practical training. If you think it is worth the money, you can try it.
My suggestion for novices is that if you go for training, it means that you still want to learn SEO well, but what should you learn? Not to learn the basic knowledge, not to learn the old ones, which are everywhere on the Internet. Knowledge, this knowledge is cheap and does not require us to spend a dime. As long as you spend a little time, you can learn it quickly by yourself. What you need to learn are some skills and experiences that can improve yourself, and these experiences are practical experience.
I think there are three aspects we need to learn in practical training: skills, experience, and thinking.
A. SEO skills
We need to master a little bit of SEO skills, such as the most basic "addition, deletion, insertion and modification" of pseudo-original article content, blog maintenance of external links, forum signatures, etc. These are the best practical experience and the most basic , we must master the things that need to be done every day. You will definitely be taught some basic skills during the training. How you learn determines your achievements.
B. SEO experience
Experience is a treasure given to us by past actual combat. We need to refine our own SEO practical experience and learn from other people’s practical experience. Our own experiences are sometimes very messy, and we need to sort them out every once in a while to make these experiences more systematic. When learning from other people's experiences, never just use them. You must test them yourself and confirm that they are correct. Sometimes some people's experiences are just immature experiences. They share them with good intentions, but they may mislead some people. This is very important in SEO training. Make the training worth paying for.
C. SEO thinking
In fact, I think what we need to learn most in training is thinking. Once we master SEO thinking, it will be easy for us to master the technology. This SEO thinking is a very fictitious thing, but it is very real. SEO thinking means that we use some basic ideas of SEO to solve any problems we encounter. For example, if a webpage wants to rank well, it must first reflect the density of keywords, and then link internally and externally. Once this is done, the ranking of the webpage will definitely be good.
Well, that’s it for this article. I hope that when you participate in training, you must focus on actual combat to make the training worthwhile.
