From 2005 to 2011, in six years, my website experienced more than one power reduction.
The first time my rights were demoted by Baidu was in 2007. In the fall of 2007, I searched the domain name on Baidu, which I was used to, but couldn't find my page. I was surprised, wondering if this was a demotion. However, in fact, , the result is worse than being demoted. My site:, the search result is 0, my God! I was plucked out by Baidu.
At that time, I was unprepared for being plucked out by Baidu. How could a small website survive without Baidu? In terms of visit statistics, on the one hand, the number of visits has dropped sharply, and on the other hand, the main visits have begun to come mainly from Yahoo searches and Google searches. I was particularly dissatisfied with Baidu at that time. Then one day I searched Baidu and found out that the main reason for being punished by Baidu was the problem of friendly links. It turns out that if you link to the punished site, your own site will also be implicated. Later, I checked it. I checked it again and found that there are indeed some friendly links that are included as 0. However, there is another reason why my small site was plucked out by Baidu. In order to increase the number of visits, I used a forum group messaging software. To sum up, one is the sudden decrease in friendly links, and the other is the use of mass-sending software. The links suddenly increase and then decrease suddenly. This is the main reason why the small site is plucked. After I solved these problems, I repeatedly sent emails to Baidu. After 3 months, Baidu finally released me.
The second time I was demoted was in 2010. In 2010, there was a severe crackdown on the Internet. Unfortunately, my forum was closed that year. Most of the external links to the forum were inaccessible. This was also the reason why I was demoted. There was no forum anymore. , the website lost its vitality, and later I had no interest in building a website. It stopped for nearly a year. In the spring of 2011, I accidentally searched for it, and the ranking actually went up again.
The third downgrade was in October 2011. At the beginning, a keyword suddenly could not be searched on Baidu. The next day, it was found that it was back. On the third day, not only did the keyword disappear, but it was also searched on Baidu. I can't find my website anymore. Through my experience, one possibility is that the server is unstable, and the other is very likely to be caused by friendly links. Of course, there is also the problem of not having much time to update during the National Day holiday. I quickly reported the problem to Baidu, and checked the friendly links of the small site again, removed several low-weight links, and added a few original articles. As a result, the site name could be found the next day, but my main keywords could not be ranked at the top. The main problem here may be that there are too few friendly links to the small site, so I started to try to connect with several related sites. After the exchange, the ranking has finally improved.
Looking back on the experience of being demoted three times, I summarized several things that must be done to build a website: First, ensure frequent updates and frequent original articles. The second is to pay special attention to friendly links. As a node on the Internet, we must exchange links extensively with the Internet, and pay special attention to the quality of friendly links. Punished sites must not be exchanged. The third is to ensure the stability of the server. The fourth is to avoid over-optimization.
