Your orders, relayed by the nobles, tell the peasants where to work, what to prioritize, and when to respond. While you don't directly control the lower classes of society, they still have hopes, dreams, and relationships. Careful management of your farmers is crucial to your success, as it is they who maintain the complex production chains in your city. It is they who build buildings, harvest resources, and produce the goods that keep them satisfied.
★ Ordinary farmers can rely on their accumulated wealth to live a prosperous life. Managing the payment of daily wages, as well as the prices of basic necessities (e.g. food, beer) in local markets, ensures farmers are motivated.
