Libraries are a way to store page elements (such as images, text, and other objects) that you want to reuse or update frequently throughout your website. These elements are called library items.
The significance of using the library: Many web designers hate frequent changes to the website. Using the Dreamweaver library can solve this problem very well! If you use the library, you can update all the web pages that use the library by changing the library, without having to modify them one by one. Web page elements or redesign the web page. ◇Create a library item
1. Select a part of the document, for example, select a picture.

◇ Insert library item
1. Place the insertion point in the "Document" window.
2. Select a library item and click the "Insert" button.

◇ Modify the library and update the site
1. Select the library item on the page.
2. Click the "Open" button in the properties panel.
3. Modify the library project and save it after the modification is completed.
4. Click the "Update" button in the "Update Library Project" dialog box.
5. Select the scope of the update and close it after the update is completed.
◇Update the entire site or all documents using a specific library project:
Select "Modify" → "Library" → "Update Page".
◇Change the current document to use the current version of all library items:
Select "Modify" → "Library" → "Update Current Page".
