If the fill light is not well controlled, indoor pictures of people will be darker, which will affect the overall effect. When processing, you can consider increasing the brightness of the skin color, adjusting the skin color to a lighter red, and then fine-tuning the dark parts and background color. The overall feeling is elegant and unified.
1. Open the character material, create a curve adjustment layer, and adjust the RGB, red, and blue. This step slightly increases the brightness of the picture and increases the red color of the character.
2. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the red, yellow, white, and black. In this step, you can fine-tune the skin color and add light cyan to the background.
3. Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + 2 to bring up the highlight selection, press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection, create a new layer and fill it with dark brown: #9D807C, change the blending mode to "Screen", and change the opacity to: 20% . This step increases the brightness of the dark areas.
4. Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + 2 to bring up the highlight selection, create a new layer and fill it with light red: #E9D7D3, and change the opacity to: 20%. This step fine-tunes the background color.
5. Bring out the highlight selection, create a new layer and fill it with light gray: #C1BFC2, change the opacity to: 30%, cancel the selection, add a layer mask, and use a black brush to erase the upper left corner. This step darkens the background color slightly.
6. Create an optional color adjustment layer, adjust the red color, and then use a black brush to erase the face of the character. This step reduces the brightness of the red color.
7. Press Ctrl + J to copy the currently selected color adjustment layer and change the opacity to: 50%.
8. Create a color balance adjustment layer and adjust the shadows and highlights. In this step, add red in the dark parts and highlights.
9. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Shift + Alt + E to stamp the layer. Simply buff the skin of the character and enhance the color of the blush.
10. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, change the blending mode to "Multiply", and the opacity to: 50%. Hold down the Alt key to add a layer mask, and use a white brush to erase the areas that need to be darkened.
11. Create a new layer and stamp the layer. Fine-tune the lip and background colors.
12. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the black. This step slightly deepens the dark parts.
Finally, beautify the details to complete the final effect.
