It is very fast to use the channel replacement method to adjust the color of monochrome pictures. After replacing the channels, you can get a very pure two-color picture. By adjusting one color to another, you can get a good monochrome picture. You can fine-tune details and local colors later.
1. Open the original image material, press Ctrl + J to copy the background layer, enter the channel panel, select the green channel, press Ctrl + A to select all, press Ctrl + C to copy, select the blue channel, press Ctrl + V to paste , click the RGB channel to return to the layer panel. This step simply unifies the color of the picture.
2. Create a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer and adjust the cyan. This step turns cyan into red.
3. Create a Curves adjustment layer and adjust the red and blue colors. This step enhances the red color of the image.
4. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the red, yellow, white, and black. This step enhances the skin color and adds blue-purple to the dark parts of the picture.
5. Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + 2 to bring up the highlight selection, create a new layer and fill it with light red: #FFD8B5. Change the blending mode to "Screen" and the opacity to: 10%. This step slightly increases the highlight part. brightness.
6. Create a color balance adjustment layer, adjust the shadows, midtones, and highlights. After confirming, fill the mask with black, and use a white brush to erase the face and skin color of the character. This step adds red to the skin color of the character.
7. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer. Simply polish the character's skin and add a little highlight to the upper left corner of the image.
8. Create a brightness/contrast adjustment layer to appropriately increase the contrast of the image. After confirmation, change the layer opacity to: 50%.
9. Create an optional color adjustment layer, adjust the red and white, and after confirmation, change the layer opacity to: 50%. This step adds a light yellow to the highlight part of the picture.
10. Bring up the highlight selection, press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection, create a new layer and fill it with dark purple: #5D215E, change the blending mode to "Screen", and the opacity to: 30%. This step adds purple to the dark part of the picture. .
11. Fine-tune the background color, and then make the character’s lips a little redder.
12. Create a new layer, fill it with dark red: #6F1A2B, change the blending mode to "Screen", and change the opacity to: 50%. Hold down the Alt key to add a layer mask, and use a white brush to erase the upper left corner. This step adds red to the highlights.
13. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, simply add some vignetting to the image, and finally fine-tune the overall color to complete the final effect.
