This tutorial introduces how to quickly retouch landscape pictures. When operating, you only need to repair the dark or beautiful parts of the picture. There are many methods, you can use curves or layer masks to achieve this.

1. Open the original image material, first use Ctrl+j, copy a background layer, and change its blending mode to Multiply in the illustration.
As shown in the figure, the red arrow indicates the position where the blending mode is modified, and the blue arrow indicates the position where the opacity is adjusted. We're only looking at the sky part, and if it's too dark, we can lower the opacity.
2. We click the button shown by the red arrow in the picture to add a mask to this layer. A mask appears at the location indicated by the blue arrow. Click the brush tool indicated by the green arrow on the toolbar and bring out black at the location indicated by the yellow arrow.
When we paint on the mask, we can see where we painted and it will return to the original image. In this way, we have fixed the side effect caused by the multiply style - the problem that the lower part of the image is too dark.
3. Next we improve the too dark part of the lower part. Go back to the background layer, press Ctlr+J again, duplicate this layer, and change its blending mode to "Screen". You can see that the entire image becomes very bright.
We only want to brighten the parts that are too dark, so add a mask to it as described above and paint it with a black brush. Pay attention to the opacity of the brush indicated by the blue arrow. Lower it and brush it layer by layer. You can slowly darken the overexposed areas and get a good color transition.
