Slow performance after installing RealNetworks RealOne Player in WINXP

Symptom: After installing RealNetworks RealOne Player on your computer, you may find that your computer performance decreases. For example, when you start your computer, Windows may take longer than expected to load.
Also, when you open Task Manager (press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and then click Task Manager) and then click the Processes tab, you may find that the Evntsvc.exe process is taking up 100% of the CPU resources.
Cause: This issue may occur if you have RealOne Player version 1 installed on your computer.
Solution: To resolve this issue, do one of the following:
• End the Evntsvc.exe process. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Press the Ctrl+Alt+Delete key combination.
2. In the Windows Security dialog box, click Task Manager.
3. Click the Processes tab.
4. In the process list, click Evntsvc.exe, and then click End Process.
• Remove RealOne Player version 1 from your computer or install the latest version of RealOne Player.
