The Murloc King in the Taris World Dungeon will enter a violent state after the boss battle lasts for more than five minutes. There are strict requirements on the team's output ability, and high requirements on operations and equipment. After the battle begins, players must keep their positions as dispersed as possible.
Leader—Molcolon, the Murloc King
1.1 Overall process
This BOSS has no stage transition mechanism
The BOSS skill release sequence is (taking elite difficulty as an example):
"Heavy Attack" > "Riptide Impact" > "Wave Impact" > "Summon Murloc (right mob)" > "Heavy Water Bomb"
"Heavy Attack" > "Riptide Impact" > "Wave Impact" > "Summon Murloc (Shaman on the left)" > "Storm Area (group destruction)"
Then continue to release skills in the above order
The focus of the battle
1. After the battle begins, players need to keep their positions dispersed as much as possible to reduce the impact of the two skills [Wave Impact] and [Heavy Water Bomb]. When the Boss casts the [Riptide Impact] skill, players need to concentrate quickly to reduce damage and facilitate treatment.
2. When the BOSS summons murlocs, the tank immediately grabs the hatred and gathers the monsters, and the DPS quickly solves the AOE problem.
3. In Elite and Epic difficulties, give priority to killing the Murloc Shaman (Fat Man). After killing, a safe haven (huge water cover) will appear, and everyone can enter to resist the BOSS's high group damage.
1.2 Core/transition mechanism
1. Haven-storm area (group destruction mechanism)
The boss will guide the casting of the [Storm Zone] skill, causing huge damage to all players. Players need to enter [Safe Haven] to reduce the damage caused by the storm area.
In normal difficulty, [Safe Haven] will be generated according to time;
In elite difficulty, the leader will use [Summon Murloc]. After the Murloc Shaman is defeated, a safe haven will be formed at his death location. Before the Boss can use this skill, the player must defeat the [Mloc Shaman] summoned by the Boss. .
How to deal with it: Be sure to kill the Murloc Shaman and enter the safe haven before the boss casts the storm area. Don't take the treatment of players lightly at this time, and please pay attention to ensuring the safety of the team's health.
2. Summon Murloc & Murloc Shaman
Summoning murlocs is a boss skill that requires the attention of the whole group in this battle. Morcolon will regularly summon murloc minions to assist him in fighting. The first wave of murlocs will come out of the portal on the right side of the boss to prepare for ordinary mobs. The second wave is the portal on the left, containing the Murloc Shaman and other mobs.
Countermeasures: After the BOSS summons murlocs, since the murloc minions have no hatred when they are refreshed, the off-tank player needs to taunt these newly summoned minions immediately to attract hatred to prevent them from attacking other players and causing attrition; output players please Use AOE skills or activate burst to quickly clear out the murloc minions. The boss will summon minions every once in a while. If not dealt with in time, a large number of mobs will appear on the field.
1.3 Small skills
1. Rapid impact
Morkron will deal heavy damage to all players 2 seconds after casting.
Countermeasures: Turn on the damage reduction skills of all players; when treating, you should also use group healing skills to heal all members.
2. Hit hard and hit hard
Quickly cause multiple bursts of damage to the current target.
How to deal with it: No need to pay too much attention to this skill, the tank can just activate the damage reduction/shield/blood recovery skills
3. Wave impact
Morcolon will cast this skill towards an area where players are densely packed. When casting the skill, there will be an obvious skill casting area and preparations for casting.
Countermeasures: The targeted player can avoid it by moving to both sides.
4. Heavy water bomb
Moore Colon will choose to throw water balls at the players who are closest to each other. On Mythic difficulty, he will choose three players and cast heavy water bombs on the selected players.
This skill has a clear range area and a small vortex at the center. If you accidentally enter this area, the player will suffer a lot of damage and continuous slowing effect, and the vortex will continue to suck the player towards the center.
How to deal with it: The selected player needs to stay away from the crowd immediately, keep moving after releasing the skill, and avoid the small whirlpool in the center.
