Photoshop filter effects create Western style.
Let’s take a look at the effect first:
What we are going to study next is to use photoshop to express the uneven effect of the oil painting surface. In creation, we use landscape paintings as reference objects to express the rich brushstroke effect.
We first open a landscape image and then copy it. Next, execute the "Image" → "Adjustment" → "Auto Levels" command in the menu bar.
Then select the "Image" → "Adjustment" → "Auto Levels" command in the menu bar. Then select the "Layer" → "New Fill Layer" → "Pattern" command in the menu bar, and set the blending mode to Multiply in the pop-up New Layer dialog box.
After setting the New Layer dialog box, click OK, as shown in the figure to set the pop-up pattern fill dialog box.
Duplicate the background layer as Background Copy 2 and place it on top of all layers. Then select the smudge tool in the toolbar and smear it. The effect is as shown in the picture.
Now create a new layer, place it on top, and hide the background layer and pattern fill layer. Hold down the "Alt" key and click the triangle button in the upper right corner of the layers panel, and select Merge Visible Layers from the menu.
Next, select the "Filter" → "Stylize" → "Relief Effect" command in the menu bar. Set the Angle to 135 degrees, the Height to 4, and the Amount to 120%.
Set the blending mode of layer 1 to Overlay in the layers panel, as shown in the figure.
Select the "Layer" → "New Fill Layer" → "Pattern" command in the menu bar, and set the blending mode to Overlay in the pop-up New Layer dialog box.
After setting the New Layer dialog box, click OK, as shown in the figure to set the pop-up pattern fill dialog box.
Set the opacity of the pattern fill 2 layer in the Layers panel to 50% and the layer blending mode to Color Burn.
