First, install and configure PHP3
1. Unzip the compressed package to your favorite directory such as: C:PHP3
2. Rename the C:php3php3.ini-inst file to PHP3.INI and copy it to C:windows
3. Modify php3.ini.
a. Modify doc_root=XXXX to your own APACHE root directory, for example like this: doc_root=c:apachehtdocs
b. Change extension_dir=XXXX to your own PHP3 installation directory, for example like this: extension_dir=c:php3
c. If you need the corresponding database support to find

And remove the ";" on the response item to activate it.
Next, install and configure APACHE.
Open CONFHTTPD.CONF in the APACHE directory for configuration, find the sentence <Directory "xxxx">, and change XXXX to your own PHP3 installation directory.

Append the following 3 lines at the end of the HTTPD.CONF file. Note that the content in the quotation marks in the first line must be changed to your own PHP3 installation directory, and please do not change the others.

Find a file and test it!
Copy a PHP3 file into apache/hdtocs/ and start APACHE! LET`SGO!!
