Currently, the world of Taris provides players with five life skills, including forging, craftsmanship, jewelry, tailoring, and alchemy.
Players can find their corresponding professional tutors in Yinhui City for learning. Each character can only choose one life skill to learn.
If you decide to change skills, your character will forget the skills currently learned, but the proficiency and drawings gained will be retained.
After replacing life skills, the original skills will have a cooling period, during which they cannot be relearned.

Master Forges know the secrets of the ore, creating indestructible armor and unlocking the potential within it, making heroes invincible in battle.
Select the forging life skill to make equipment parts such as helmets, breastplates, wrist guards, and shoulder pads. And can create drilling devices to unlock gem slots for equipment.
jewelry
Jewelry masters are proficient in the mysteries of gemstones. They can not only create exquisite products, but also condense power into gemstones to provide additional strength and allow every warrior to feel the magical power from the depths of the earth.
Choosing the jewelry life skill will allow you to make rings, belts, necklaces, and equipment parts for jewelry. You can also make equipment gems and set them in gem slots to improve character attributes.
tailor
Master tailors use their deft hands to weave everything from gorgeous garments to practical backpacks, and their creations keep adventurers safe and stylish on the road.
Choosing the tailoring life skill will allow you to make equipment parts for leggings, cloaks, gauntlets, and boots, as well as backpack containers to increase the amount of items your character can carry and the storage capacity.
Alchemy
Alchemists knew the power of herbs. Their wisdom and skills make every bottle of potion full of infinite possibilities, helping adventurers move forward bravely.
Selecting the alchemy life skill will allow you to create potions, mixtures and other items to increase the combat capabilities of individuals and teams. In addition, you can also create runes to provide attribute-improving effects to equipment.
artisan
Skilled craftsmen can turn endless imagination into reality and create stunning masterpieces. Their works always bring endless possibilities for adventure.
Selecting the craftsman life skill will allow you to create toys, mounts, heraldic treasure boxes and other items, among which the heraldic treasure boxes can be used in the new character color development system.
Craftsmen can also create advanced fishing lures. These specially crafted lures can not only increase the chance of obtaining rare fish, but may even obtain exclusive mounts.
Crafting Tools, Materials and Gathering
In order to create items through life skills, players first need to obtain the corresponding collection/crafting tools. These tools can be purchased with in-game currency or obtained as drops in Elite Five.
In addition to tools, crafting items also requires the consumption of various materials, which can be obtained through gathering or trading.
Different qualities of materials will determine the quality of the final output item, and using high-quality materials is more likely to produce better items.
Each life skill can collect different materials. Once a certain life skill is learned, players will receive initial collection tools.
More advanced collection tools can be forged or purchased in the trading house.
Most of the collected materials are distributed in every corner of the world map, waiting for warriors to discover them.
However, collecting also requires players' energy, which also means that players need to plan their game time reasonably.
Proficiency and Life Specialization
Each successful creation of an item will increase the proficiency of that life skill. Some items have certain requirements for skill proficiency. As proficiency continues to improve, players can also unlock more complex production drawings.

After the proficiency reaches a certain value, the player can choose the specialization direction of this life skill. Each life specialization has different effects, such as improving collection/manufacturing efficiency, reducing energy consumption, improving the quality or production of specific items, etc.
After choosing a specialization direction, players can further enhance their collection, processing, and production capabilities in that direction through talent trees.
