The editor recently saw on Tieba that many players encountered the problem of how to fight 1 full wave of Heavy Outpost Old City in Heavy Outpost, and they didn’t know what to do. Here today, the editor brings you the solution to this problem. As long as you follow the editor's rhythm, you will be able to solve the problem smoothly and play this game smoothly.
Preface
When I first saw Old City 1, I scanned the entire map manually. It was really difficult because I ran out of time. Here is some experience for novices who are planning to go to Old City 1.
I played it manually all night and made a profit of 70,000+. I shipped the blueprints and some good things back in advance. If I didn't ship them, I might have earned 10,000. The enemy's buffs are a glove, an attack HP of 30%, and an agent's sneak attack. The attributes are not much added, but if there are too many, it may overturn the situation.
I don't feel anything about the sneak attacks by agents. I haven't seen them appear. It doesn't feel as good as the Children of the Stars.
The first is the output requirement. The absolute main force of the output is close-in defense cannon. I personally tested it and used 6 close-in defense cannons on the front, 2 on each side, and 1 on the back. Plus a bunch of light cannons, it can be fired relatively easily. Weird It's basically impossible to touch. The remaining automatic turrets and light cannons in the early stage can be used to fight some small soldiers, but they are not very useful. If they can be used, try to use all close-in defense cannons. The reason will be discussed later. Then in terms of heavy firepower, an old-fashioned cannon with at least 6+, preferably 10+, so that two rounds of volleys can blow up the warrior angel to about half its health. Finally, we need some light direct firepower such as smart mortars to prevent some enemies from getting stuck in tricky positions and stealing damage.
Then there is the logistical issue that is most likely to overturn. The ammunition in Old City 1 is under great pressure and requires at least 2 basic loading machines, one on the front, one on the side, and manual loading on the back and other side. It is highly recommended to enter 3 loaders, and place them on the left and right of the front. This is definitely much easier! There are at least 8 primary ammunition makers, otherwise the ammunition will easily be insufficient. I put 9 in, and they all made full ammunition before entering the picture. Almost used up.
The biggest difference between Old City and Snowfield is here. In Snowfield 4, only the front and left sides have more monsters, but you only need to load the two loaders with full ammunition and don't worry about it. The initial ammunition on the right side is enough. You have a lot of time to hang up and enjoy the scenery. But in the old city, you basically spend the whole time loading ammunition for the loader, and you basically have no time to deal with monsters. If you stop for a moment, the close-in defense gun will go off, and then you will G.
Finally, let’s talk about some details. The Star Children will fall from the sky, so you can’t leave any dead spots inside your base. It’s best to seal the rooftop and leave only a stairway up and down. Especially don’t build an open-air base, because this will make the Star Children They will fall directly into the base. The Star Children in Old City 1 are very tanky. Once you take the time to deal with them, there will be problems with the ammunition supply.
Firepower configuration
There are 6 close-in defense guns, 8 light guns, and one double-barreled light gun on the front. If placed as shown below, they can all be supplied by one loader. The rate at which this loader consumes ammunition is terrifying. By the way, I will show you the three-dimensional base. I recommend 1500+ core power, 3000+ supplies, and 1100 power, which is a bit low and is almost not enough to use manually.
The left side uses the same ammunition supply method. It should be noted that the Star Children will run around, so it is best not to put close-in defense cannons on the same floor. I placed 4 smart mortars on the third floor.
The configuration on the right is as shown in the picture. In actual combat, the turret on the right is often completely empty, so it is strongly recommended to challenge it with three loaders, otherwise the operating pressure will be too great.
There are very few monsters on the back, so the firepower is a bit excessive.
Heavy firepower is placed on the roof of the building. 11 old-fashioned cannons are placed in staggered positions. The third one from the bottom left can be loaded by a loader. In the initial stage, the front two units can shoot directly, and all the rear units can be set to projectile. When the Warrior Angels are about to come out, they will all be changed to direct shooting, because the Warrior Angels are very tall and there is no obstruction problem. I used percentage damage to hit Wu Angel to half health, and the remaining health actually required two rounds of volley fire! Therefore, it is best to use the shells sparingly. The loader can hang 6 shells, so you can bring 6 directly before setting off. Put it on.
Weapon settings
For close-in defense artillery, be sure to give the missile the highest priority, and don’t put others at the same level as it, otherwise the Angel Missile will teach you how to be a good person.
There's nothing much to say about the light cannon, it just adds damage. If you have many machine gun towers or close-in defense guns, you can remove the small units with light guns, because light guns always fire at small units, resulting in a waste of ammunition. The reason I'm here is because all the machine gun towers were used to synthesize close-in defense guns. In Woodland 3, the machine gun barrels dropped every day, but now they don't drop at all. The double-barreled light cannon is the same and will not be displayed.
Cannons only target large and giant targets. Note that the cannon's initial state is not in automatic mode and needs to be turned on manually after entering the picture.
The machine gun tower can actually only attack small units, because it cannot attack other units, which is a waste of ammunition.
For smart mortars, I checked the medium target here because the loader can replenish it. If it cannot be replenished, it is best to remove the medium target, or pay more attention to loading yourself.
Place a row of ammunition makers on the rooftop so you don't have to go up and down the stairs frequently.
There are a few small drones placed in the middle. This thing is very important. There are too many things in the old city. If you want to collect them all, you must bring more airplanes, and blueprints and other things can be sent home directly to avoid overturning. Equipment and consumables can also be given away, because general buff events give money or materials based on building materials and valuables.
Small generators must be grouped in advance, because there is a serious overflow of materials on recycling day, so you will often use the material conversion function to turn more power out to activate the shock wave of the base and reduce the ammunition pressure.
Solute selection
When there are only two loaders in Old City 1, you basically have no time to output, so you only need to consider the Warrior Angel. So just bring light + perfect finish to get full percentage damage. As soon as the Warrior Angel comes out, he just fires Z, and then shoots hard, which can almost hit half of the HP, and then let the cannon deal with it.
Bring a slashing bomb + heavy slashing + multiplier, which can be used to defeat small bosses, and can also be used for daily scans, because the mobs in the old city are too fleshy. If you fight light for a long time, it is better to use a slashing bomb to penetrate the soul. You can do whatever you want with the rest, I brought the damage rotor here.
You can freely choose other slots. Priority will be given to skills that can kill through walls and AOE solutes, or those that can quickly kill Star Children.
Don't bring me this energy arc. It's useless against me. It's useless against Old City P.
Preparation before war
Bring at least 12 ammunition boxes, and fill them up with the loader as soon as you enter the map. If you are scanning automatically, it is best to bring 6 more shells and fill the ammunition box with the rest. Note that special bullets cannot replenish the turret. This is what I use myself. Energy bullets are said to increase damage, while ice and fire are useless. If you are raiding, you can bring fewer boxes of energy bombs. A box of special bullets has 3,000 rounds. You don’t have time to output them anyway.
There is a manufacturing machine that can be installed on the base. An ammunition box + 30 yuan can make a box of energy bombs (there is another one that costs 100 yuan to make. The two are exactly the same, probably a bug). The ammunition box + 10 yuan You can make a cannonball. Be sure to bring this with you when scanning the map manually. The extra supplies can be used to make energy bombs and cannonballs to supplement your family's income, so as not to sit back and eat.
In terms of equipment selection, be sure to use high-magnification lenses, mechanical grapples, and double-jumping shoes. The rest are optional. The scanning glove loses its flavor after the core power is 1000+. The CD is long and the range is small. It is not as good as the base 5 electric scan with 1500 core power to scan the entire map, and the duration is still longer. The terrain of the old city is rugged, so the mechanical hook and double jump are very important, and it is also convenient to get on and off the base. It is best to have insurance on all equipment to avoid accidents.
The old city will draw maps of snowfields and woodlands, so you can bring 5 types of key cards and excavation kits. I brought the repair kit and found that it seems to be useless. It can only be used to repair the defender at the entrance of the military camp, and it can also be repaired with electricity for 20. Finally, you must bring someone with you to pry the door, otherwise all kinds of door-breaking dogs will annoy you to death, and the dogs in the old city will be nothing more than meat.
In addition, it is best not to use an override helmet. It seems to have no effect when I stand next to the cannon. It also crashed when using it in the snow field.
