On October 22, Beijing’s construction project safety, quality and smart management benchmark construction site observation and learning activities were launched at Tsinghua University’s Tongzhou Financial Development and Talent Training Base Project. On the morning of that day, at the Tsinghua University Tongzhou Financial Development and Talent Training Base project site, six exhibition areas were set up, including humanistic construction, party building leadership, safety management, efficient construction, green construction, and lean construction, where various smart construction technologies gathered. Visitors can learn more about the overall picture of smart construction site construction using the "156 Project Management Digital Intelligent Construction Platform" as a management method through VR experiences, watching videos, and visiting sample models.
More than ten advanced achievements, including intelligent inspection robots, BIM+VR safety experience systems, and tower crane smart monitoring systems, became the most eye-catching content on site. A smart safety helmet was displayed on site. Compared with ordinary safety helmets, it can not only ensure worker safety, but also provide positioning, sensing (hat removal, posture, health signs) early warning and audio and video communication functions, which can monitor the safe production site operation process. Provide early warning prompts for routine problems that arise in the Internet, and realize the "five-in-one" of perception, analysis, service, wisdom, and supervision. A reporter from Beiqing Daily learned that as one of the "Beijing Intelligent Construction Pilot Projects", the Tsinghua University Tongzhou Financial Development and Talent Training Base Project has quite a smart highlight: the project uses a 3D scanner + BIM Technology, through simulation and deduction, can control the installation accuracy to the millimeter level; in terms of the optimization design of the curtain wall of the "near-zero energy consumption building", the project uses intelligent electric sunshade louvers to achieve a comprehensive energy saving of more than 20%; the basement structure aluminum formwork used inside the building System technology can The concrete surface after removal of the formwork can achieve the effect of facing-grade fair concrete, and the aluminum formwork can be recycled and used more than 200 times; the project uses solar street lights, which can save 40 kilowatt hours of electricity every day; the smart spray dust reduction system can monitor and automatically control the spraying area and duration. In addition, the project will use waste materials such as gravel as backfill materials to help reuse construction waste.
At present, the project has achieved full capping of the main structure and has begun to enter the construction stages of curtain walls, secondary structures, mechanical and electrical structures, etc. According to the characteristics of the project, the curtain wall uses five materials: glass, ceramic tiles, aluminum profiles, high-performance concrete panels and U-shaped glass, which basically covers all material types of curtain wall facades on the market, reflecting Tsinghua’s tradition and innovation. It is expected that The entire project will be put into use in September 2026.
