Tower Defense RNG is a simple tower defense game on Roblox. It's a continuous game where your units will keep fighting enemies until you quit the game. During your game, you will want to roll traits to power up your units and continue leveling up your avatar. Here is a guide to the best traits in Tower Defense RNG:
Traits in Tower Defense RNG are split between the different units that are available in the game. There are traits for Towers, Traps, Starts, and Exits, but there are also Global traits that can be applied anywhere.
The Global traits are Shiny, Super Charged, Decay, and Anti-Decay, while both Towers and Traps can gain the traits Empowered, Infernal, and Toxic. Only Towers can have Accelerated, and Start units have the exclusive Golden trait. Finally, Exit units can roll the traits Healthy or Fortified, but no others. To get these traits faster, you'll need Gold, and one way to earn it is by redeeming Tower Defense RNG codes.
Tier | Trait |
---|---|
S | Empowered, Shiny, Super Charged. |
A | Accelerated, Fortified, Infernal, Toxic. |
B | Golden. |
C | Anti-Decay, Healthy. |
D | Decay. |
Empowered - This trait is available for Towers and Traps, doubling the damage output of the unit to which the trait is attached. This is an extremely helpful trait for your Towers and Traps to have in later levels as your enemies become stronger and your units struggle to keep up with them.
Shiny - The ultimate trait for any unit in Tower Defense RNG, the Shiny trait "insanely boosts all stats." There's only a 0.27% chance of getting this trait when rolling for a trait on a unit, making it highly sought-after.
Super Charged - Super Charged isn't as good as the Shiny trait, but it shares the same characteristics and is available for all units. This trait is described as "greatly boosts all stats," rather than "insanely" like the Shiny trait does. The reason I've listed this as an S-tier trait alongside the Shiny trait is that you have a greater chance of getting Super Charged with a 1.38% roll rate.
Accelerated - The Accelerated trait is only available on Towers. This trait doubles the attack speed of the Towers to which the trait is applied. Attack speed is a vital stat to boost in long games or later levels because the enemies start coming out in larger waves or have enemies that split into two when destroyed.
Fortified - A trait exclusive to Exits, Fortified is a +100% health multiplier, meaning it can double your current health. Again, this is another good trait to get later in the game to continue to advance through the levels without dying.
Infernal - Infernal can only be rolled on Towers and Traps. It applies burns to your enemies, helping to kill them faster as they try to run towards the exit. You need to be at least level 2 to use this trait, but that shouldn't take long.
Toxic - Another trait that can only be rolled on Towers and Traps, the Toxic trait applies poison to your enemies. Like Infernal, this can be helpful if you apply extra damage to your enemies as they run around the map.
Golden - Golden won't help you cause damage or apply effects to your enemies, but it does double your income. This should help you roll for more traits as you gain extra income, but it's not exactly a super-powerful trait to have. It can also only be applied to Start units.
Anti-Decay - Anti-Decay removes the Decay trait that may occur when you use the Rebirth function in Tower Defense RNG. The only reason it's higher than D-tier is because Decay is in D-tier and is the worst trait to get in the game.
Healthy - Healthy can only be applied to Exit units on your map. It doubles your bonus health, which is a significantly weaker effect than the Fortified trait but is still helpful in your game.
Decay - As I mentioned in the C-tier section, Decay is the worst trait in Tower Defense RNG. It will only be applied to your units if you roll it after you use Rebirth. However, rolling this trait on a unit will permanently nerf its stats until you roll Anti-Decay on the same unit.
At the bottom of your screen in Tower Defense RNG, you'll see a button that says "ROLL." This is used to roll for Towers, Traps, Starts, and Exits that you can find in-game. You can reroll as much as you'd like to find your preferred Towers, Traps, Starts, and Exits, or you can switch on the AUTO function to force the game to reroll while playing.
If you choose the AUTO reroll, TD RNG will stop on Towers, Traps, Starts, and Exits you don't have, and those that are rare. You won't be stuck with a bunch of Lasers, don't worry. When it comes to traits, you'll be happy to know that you can roll for additional traits on each of your Towers, Traps, Starts, and Exits without losing previous ones that you've paid for. The traits will continue to stack.
